🚴‍♀️ Let's go to a bicycle shop ~Cycles Laurent, Paris~ 🇫🇷

I visited "Cycles Laurent," one of the oldest bicycle shops in Paris. 🇫🇷
Founded in 1948, this historic Parisian bicycle shop houses the actual bicycle used by Jacques Anquetil, a five-time Tour de France winner, and bicycles dating back 130 years.

I visited the shop casually during my trip to Paris, but I was able to hear from the second-generation owner, Jean (79 years old), about the journey from Bordeaux to Paris, the Tour de France, vintage bicycles, and the story of the shop that has been run by four generations.

*This video was created after returning home, based on my own research using the audio from the video, as I don't understand French at all. Please understand that there may be minor inaccuracies or omissions in the information provided. 🙇

🟥 Anbutter (female) *Loves cycling

🟦 Jam Ojisan (male) *Dislikes hills

🟨 Jean (79 years old) *Shop owner. A man who doesn't change anything.

【What's amazing about this shop】
✅ The founder is a former cyclist who won the Bordeaux-Paris (approx. 600km!) race two years in a row.
✅ An actual bicycle ridden by Anquetil, the hero of the Tour de France with 5 wins, hangs from the ceiling.
✅ A 130-year-old bicycle hangs on the wall, still intact.
✅ The owner bought the shop at a dinner table without even looking at the ledgers—a display of manliness.
✅ The "SL37 Compact" he designed himself—was it 20 years ahead of its time?

✅ A slightly dubious behind-the-scenes story about Freddie Mercury.
✅ To the 3rd and 4th generations. The wheels that connect 4 generations.

【Theme】Why has a shop that decided to "change nothing" continued to run for 78 years?
