An Albright knot has always served me well. Especially with lighter monos

How good is summer! Nicely done Johnny! 🍻🍻🍻

I find the Albright is the quickest and works on all size line. Great on light line.

Cheers for the information mate. Time to get back out on my yak to chase some whiting

i recon a double uni knot with a three meter leader is really good for the whiting

Ha ha , awesome John. I'm selling all my Sugapens and downgrading the hooks on my GT poppers for whiting , you boys are onto something ! 😂

A vid with breakfast, what a start to Saturday!

I can't do FG's at anything under 8lb, always snap it when im tightening.

Great vid mate
I use a 7'6" ultra light rod and 4lb braid and leader. A uni to uni with 4lb is microscopic. 8 wraps with the braid and 5 with the leader.

Thanks for the info John. Can you do a close up demo on how you just use your hands to do the FG knot. I have to tension my main line braid on to something. 👌

Great vid mate. I reckon the more wind the better, particularly a southerly, don't know why (in Port Stephens NSW). Also, I gave up on the FG as it was too hard to be consistent with across all line classes. I now (for the last couple of years anyway) use a modified Slim Beauty.
