Seven consecutive world titles. Seven years undefeated on the global stage. A sporting legacy that puts him in the exact same bracket as Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Yet, despite being one of the most successful athletes Britain has ever produced, Llanelli’s Flex Lewis remains one of Wales’ best-kept secrets.
In America, Flex is a household name - a bodybuilding titan, curator of a fitness empire, and the founder of The Dragon's Lair, one of the most famous gyms on the planet, where A-listers and elite athletes train side-by-side.
But while millions across the US revere his achievements, many back home in Wales are only just discovering the magnitude of his global impact.
In this exclusive, full-length interview with WalesOnline, the seven-time Mr. Olympia champion sits down at his family home in Wales to tell his incredible story.
Flex opens up about staying in touch with his homeland with regular visits to Wales from Vegas, ensuring his children grow up with the same Welsh roots that grounded him.
From sneaking his dad’s weights into his bedroom as a boy, to acting as a "one-man Welsh tourist board" in the US, Flex reflects on his past, his sports-mad family, and what drives him today.
