“Men think 'No' means 'Yes' and 'Get lost' means 'Take me, I'm yours’” -Meg, the Disney Hercules movie

"But what if he's attractive!" That doesn't mean he has the right to harass woman!

“just say no!” I did and I ended up hospitalised for two months afterwards.

The fact that ppl always tell WOMEN what to do against creepy men instead of teaching MEN not to be creepy torwards women is crazy to me

what really pissed me off is that the girls were clearly distressed, clearly yelling, and no one came and asked the men to leave.

“Why didn’t you tell him to go away” because that doesn’t work and people don’t fucking listen…?

“But he likes you”
don’t care + didn’t ask + no means no + he can find someone else + shut up + L

Ever noticed that "i have a boyfriend" works better against a man making advances than a simple "no"? Because men respect the simple hypothetical existence of a man more than a woman.

crazy how you can say "r@p3 is bad" and some people still gonna argue and say "but"

It's gotten worse because of the pick-up bros online who tell men that women like aggression and being chased, the thing they forget to tell them is that women who are into that game will FLIRT back at you not tell you NO

As a gay woman I’ve been politely turned down by women, I simply say “have a nice day” and leave them alone. It’s really not that hard.

i was harassed by a group of boys in the middle school where they called me racial slurs and made racial comments about my appearance, even getting physical with me multiple times. went to the principal about it and the first thing he asked me was "have you ever rejected one of these boys before?" i was stunned. like, what if i had? is rejection an excuse for racism and violence to you?

The thing that drives me mad is those first girls are literally screaming go away and nobody is helping like WTF

The way those two men stayed SAT at their table after all of that…. truly infuriating

I’ve tried literally everything. “No”, “No thanks”, “I can’t”, “I’m busy”, “I’m gay”, “I have a partner”, and more. They don’t listen to anything, no matter how nice or mean you are.

I remember my mum telling me when I was young that if anyone tried grabbing me, for me to scream "fire" instead of help, because people were more likely to help if there was a fire than just some girl asking for help. And she was like "you fight. You scream, you scratch, you bite. Get as much evidence as possible." my mother shouldn't have had to tell a ten year old girl that, just to keep me safe.

RIP to all the women who died and suffered because males couldn’t handle rejection

six mins in, and this lady has said no probably over 20 times. a toddler has more respect than those men. (i have a six year old brother with adhd, who struggles to understand social cues, but i know that he would still have so much more respect than those men.)

The way those two guys are grinning and laughing at the table when the women have clearly asked them to move several times says it all really. It's one thing if there are no tables and you come up like "Hey, sorry, there're no other free spaces, do you mind if we sit here?" but they were clearly doing this with the intention of bothering these women.

"but what if he was attractive" is such a stupid argument because NEWS FLASH: harassing women isn't attractive, regardless of physical appearance!
