I was at this one. Best memory was a gentleman wearing a Notre Dame coat and tabby hat leaving with his wife about halfway through fourth quarter waving in surrender an umbrella with a white handkerchief tied to the end. Vol fans in our section gave them a standing ovation. It was great.

I wish the Band would find another guy who could emulate this Drum Major. I remember him and was always amazed at his ability and top notch performances.

The stadium LITERALLY shook when Tenn. scored their third TD. They shook the biting Irish.

The O- line was absolutely whipping ND up front. Huge holes to run thru.

I was there, great game! Saw the Eagles, Long Run Tour at Stokely the night before. Great weekend! Oh to be young and stupid again....

Vols played with gusto, passion, and fearlessness. Multiple 4th down conversion, ND couldn't field kicks after giving up TD and Safety.
