Fun fact: The stargate puzzle's solution is save-file dependent!

I'll say what I said on a different reaction video.
The puzzle is real, and mart actually got it right. The reason why he transitioned to satisfactory, is because that puzzle doesn't have a real ending, just like the victory. It basically just says "Congratulations, you completed the puzzle!" and that's it. Much more interesting to tease the next series than to end it on that flaccid climax.
With that said, I loved this reaction. I need to stop rewatching mart, badger, and max0r.

54:29 Tristan has gone full Napoleon in his isolation, turned that single planet into a satisfactory let's play

Also the devs for this mod made Space Age. So technically Space Age is a toned down version of Space Exploration.

Fun fact; if you go back to the beginning, when mart is explaining why it took so long to make the video (then running away), he is also in the satisfactory desert.

18:17 it's a blink and you miss it moment, but Impact Shielding Data requires an entire locomotive as part of its recipe and then outputs a ton of scrap, which implies that you're smashing trains into a wall for science

2:38 "Infused with nuclear grade autism" is hilariously true

For people being scared, this is Space Exploration, an insanely complex and long and hard mod, not to be confused with Space Age, which is a cool and accessible experience for normal Factorio players, and the official Factorio expansion.

He unleashed the Virus Bomb. He fulfilled the commandment of the Ordo Xenos and purged the xeno filth.

54:55 You could say the ending was Satisfactory

The ending was Satisfactory

I think throughout you are mixing up Space Age, and Space Exploration. This that Martin played is Space Exploration and the DLC Space Age is a much toned down version of Space Exploration even bringing on the creator of SE for concept art and processes.

51:15 "Pentakis dodecahedron, I know my Latin."

Uh, as any other Latin speaker would tell you, that's all Greek to me

I think you are confusing the Space exploration mod, which martincitopants is playing, with the Space Age official DLC for Factorio. The Pentapods on Gleba and the Demolisher worms on Vulcanus are from the DLC.

54:53 YES! THIS IS A SATISFACTORY REFERENCE!

13:26 The pickle and gnome animations are AI generated

54:24 To be fair - Tristan was on that planet for 100+ hours, quite enough time to turn the whole planet into a single giga-factory.

31:00 well it's basically a virus bomb from 40k

13:25 I'm not sure to be honest, the pickle and later gnome scenes hit a very "Uncanny AI" vibe for me that I can't shift. Given how Mart concludes this utilising ChatGPT to code with Python (one of the easiest languages to learn) I wouldn't be surprised. Especially if done to hasten production.

47:35 I dont know if this is a jab or not but dyson sphere program is spectacular
