This has been very highly requested since we did Devil Trigger, and even I hadn't really heard this song yet! So here we are, back at it again and boy I am glad that we listened to this track! It's definitely a big hit and we love it

When you asked if Mick Gordon did the bass, it's like that because Casey Edwards is a fan/pupil of Mick himself. He took liberties from Mick and used it in the creation of Bury the light

The ending of the guitar solo is the melody to Devil Trigger btw.

“This better be up to expectations” says a man who’s about to be blown over by one of the best soundtracks to any video game

From 0-10, i give this song a "vergil"

10 is don't deserve this masterpiece

You: this better live up to expectations

Bury the light: ur expectations better live up to this

Fun fact: Vergil is only playable in DLC's/Special Editions in every game he showed up (which I think it's just the DMC series and Marvel vs Capcom 3...)

This song IS amazing, is Power turned into music, and encapsulates what Vergil is

The ONE problem I have with this song in terms of IN-GAME is that it is too long for most combats.

Well, Casey Edward has been interviewed and he said one of his main inspiration is Periphery. Both Casey Edwards and Victor Borba are hugely influenced by Periphery.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a "HE SAID THE THING" moment

I love that nick was meming at 3:15, and then it turned into actual interest as he got hooked on the chorus immediately after

Usually when i heard "scratched" voice tones on music it's a low tone music like murmurs, but this dude he SCREAMED with this voice,he not only screamed,he MAINTENED his voice like this and he made it to a higher note WHILE having the "scratch" tone it's not even on my league of thoughts how hard this is to do

The last three minutes of this song were born out of Casey's pure love for Devil May Cry. He didn't know if he'd be able to compose for the series again, so he poured his heart and soul (along side vocalist Victor Borba) into those final minutes.
