A cunning mind.
A dangerous court.
And survival in the age of royal madness.
In Blackadder II, the legendary Blackadder returns with Rowan Atkinson as the ever-scheming Edmund Blackadder — navigating the absurd and perilous world of the Tudor court under Queen Elizabeth I.
Because in this court…
one wrong word can cost you your head.
Surrounded by fools, flatterers, and unpredictable royalty, Blackadder must rely on wit, sarcasm, and sheer cunning to survive. Alongside him are the dim-witted Baldrick and the pompous Lord Percy — each adding their own brand of chaos.
Schemes go wrong.
Plans collapse.
And disaster is never far away.
Can Blackadder outsmart everyone?
Or will the madness of the court finally catch up with him?
With razor-sharp dialogue, unforgettable characters, and relentless satire, Blackadder II remains one of the greatest British comedies ever created.
Because in a world ruled by ego and nonsense…
wit is the only weapon that works.
