IT IS FAMICOM. WITH AN M!
According to LuigiBlood, The Satellaview did not have any monthly fees. Apparently, only the radio part of St. Giga required monthly fees.
The BS Homepage only has information about broadcast dates up-to 1998, so I assumed they stopped broadcasting after that, however, LuigiBlood clarified it went longer. (Albeit, without Nintendo's support.)(https://bszelda.zeldalegends.net/broa...)

Do you know about the Zelda game that you could only play once a week? And for only an hour! Today we are going to talk about Zelda BS, Ancient Stone Tablets, the history of St. Giga, and theories about what happened to the games!

[ FUN FACTS ]
- Most of the music in this video comes from an album called "The Legend of Zelda: Sound & Drama". This album was used frequently during Ancient Stone Tablets when it originally aired!

- If you like Jazz and Hippie Nature sounds, here is a link to a St. Giga Playlist = https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBxzJydCQYLMKfWn48Rso69FuGk2lJBWx

LMAO Nintendo literally streamed Zelda Events like it was fortnite. Nintendo really was ahead and behind time at once.

“Have you ever binged a Zelda game?” I spent 8 hours today playing the original Zelda for the NES and finally beat it for the first time in one sitting😂

Imagine if breath of the wild could only be played 60 minutes a month.

I may be a Zelda veteran, but I learned so many new things through this video. Nice job. :D

I think it's pretty cool to make Zelda games like this. It's almost like a TV show where you tune in every week to see what happens.

Ancient Stone Tablets is at least somewhat preserved thanks to those optional memory cartridges you mentioned and the absolute mad lads and lasses who held onto them for so long, thus allowing the Zelda community to piece the save data for each broadcast session back into a playable fan recreation of the original game (minus the live events and voice acting of course). I dunno about the other two games though. 🤷

My parents: you can play those games everyday!
Me: are you SURE?

Laughing turning to sobbing as I think how I've spent the last 3 weeks playing nothing but BotW in my free time

imagine this a zelda game where where your weopons constantly break raining prevents you from doing something very important and your "master sword" has the battery life of a iphone
