Armageddon is a Hive World located in the Armageddon system of the Segmentum Solar. The planet is an important industrial center, influencing not only its own but also neighboring regions. Armageddon is a kind of "key" to the solar system, and its planetary defense forces and the regiments of the Astra Militarum Steel Legion are the planet's pride, forged in constant battles with alien and internal threats. The world has been on the brink of destruction several times: in the First War for Armageddon, the Chaos hordes of Angron, the Daemon Primarch of Khorne, were stopped at the cost of a sea of blood, and then, almost the entire planet's population was exterminated by the Inquisition to prevent information leaks. In the Second War, Armageddon repelled the massive WAAAAAGH of Warlord Ghazghkul Mac-Uruk Thraka, driving him from the planet's surface after six months of heroic defense led by Lord Commissar Sebastian Yarrick. Reinforcements led by the Blood Angels Chapter allowed the world to survive, but how long was the new peace destined to last? Let's find out.
