“You just took like 7 words and mashed them into one?”

He IS learning German!

The dialogue: nothing to do with stairs
Smant: ✨STAIRS✨

The character arc from "noo i don't want to do pushups" to "fair enough i'll do 10 pushups" is insane

I love your approximations of the story lmao
"How about we find out with a Pokemon battle...
...another time." walks away

This is just lore accurate. The character just moved on from Kanto, of course they don't understand the local language yet.

This challenge was so hard, we saw smant go from baby face, to full grown beard/mustache, back to baby face.

The fact that he had to demonstrate how he used to hang under stairs while playing his ds by drawing a diagram is fucking hilarious.

I will catch one shiny for each like this comment gets! (Edit I made a short about this tag smant because he will decide which pokemon I will hunt and if I stream it) Edit2: It is stopped at 10x of every pokemon BTW so it keeps going when new gens are released tho

Edit 3, a year in and I’ve caught about 530 mons at this rate I’ll get it in about 19 more years, I will keep going this will not stop.

its CRAZY how accurate his random translations are at times. I am really impressed

I have to say it’s really impressive how much of the german dialogue he guessed correctly. Specially because he said he didn’t play this gen before

I liked seeing the thumbnail version of smallant who is very clearly in distress and then clicking on the video and seeing a much more whimsical version in a very happy propeller hat

it's so funny how he doesn't lose pokemon permanently at all like in a nuzlocke yet he's way more afraid of letting them faint, physical punishment is way more exciting!

I was nervous about this being in German, but then he started fake translating everything and I knew it would be just fine 😂

I love when he asks for the translation for „nicht“ (it’s the word for „nothing“)

Chat says „nothing“ and he is like „Oh it doesn’t mean anything?“

I'm sitting here wondering how every Trainer Pokemon is a (Gengar) but realize much to late it's (Gegner) which is German for Enemy

Whichever Jabroni in Twitch Chat decided that Ant had to release his strongest Pokemon upon every Game Over was definitely scheming to softlock him at Ultra Necrozma, XD

I've seen so many shorts based on this playthrough.
I immediately went "Oh, it's this one.".

Didn't expect to hear "Incel wander shaft" today.

1:15:12 "You got the password?"
"Yes"
"Well okay then, carry on."

1:51 it took him 43 minutes to get his starter. I can't imagine what it's like to be a small ant live stream viewer
