Funny story talking about Fiskars, I was a firefighter for 30 years and carried the Fiskars X27 as my fire axe! I now have it mounted in my basement with my other fire memorabilia. It was so popular as a firefighters tool, that other firefighters ordered a few for their personal use!

Fiskars was also the brand of axe used in the popular survival horror game, The Forest. The company has a perplexing and deep rich history!

If you ever visit Finland in summer time, do a day trip to Fiskars. It's a small village/town not too far from Helsinki. Pretty place with lots of old industrial stuff to look at. And yes that's where the name of the company comes from.

This guy makes gardening sound super exciting. Like rambo is coming to plant your tomatos.

Excellent round-up describing the features and use-cases of these fine tools.  I own an X27…best splitter I’ve ever used.

can not speak about axes or cleavers, but has used Fiskars sicssors for more than 20 ys in the kitchen. just brilliant. stellar quality

Once again impressed by Tony and his knowledge of the Fiskars brand.

From scissors to axes. I love my Fiskars.

For camping and hiking X7 and SW75 is the perfect combination. Not too much weight for carrying around, but enough to get the job done easily. I've tried to replace them, but I always come back to these.

Cheers from Finland

That limbing machete looked like it worked fantastically

I have sooo many Fiskars products. I love their replacement program. I have axes, hatchets, pruners, all steel post hole diggers, loppers, ratchet loppers, small plant nippers, scissors, rotary cutters, page cutters, and others.

I ended up with a Fiskars hatchet in a bunch of tools I purchased and it distinguished itself pretty quickly.

I have two Fiskars axes and I'm very happy with them. A X7 to put in my backpack and a X25 for splitting. Both with a 25 year warranty.

Great video gentlemen

In Boy Scouts, what you call eye-gougers, those little dead branches, we called squaw wood.  Easy picking, and even in dire conditions, rain and snow, easy to find, always dry and quick effective kindling.  Imagine in Jack London’s “To Build a fire”, the man caught in frigid conditions finding a tree with a bunch of dry ‘eye-gougers’.  Now if one could only ‘build a fire’.

Fiskars is the best machette/axe I ever used or seen in my life! I left my home in Florida to help my mother when she got sick up north and when I came back a literal forest had grown in my back yard . I used the machete to cut down at least 35 trees and all types of branches and everything else ! It did the job better than a power tool and gave me the best workout of my life 😅. Unfortunately it chipped a few times and I wasn’t able to find the receipt to exchange it with their life time warranty. I still have it but I have to get a new one here soon . I have all fiskar gardening tools ,they are really under rated

I have a couple of these the X27 and the Maul and they are well used and provide great service.  I really enjoyed Tony's insights on the whole Fiskars line up and both of you showing just how you would leverage each.  This is one of the best episodes you have recorded!

These two are awesome, I think Tony is everyone's new best friend.

Nice - well done sales pitch from Tony and he doesn’t have a horse in the race 👍👌
