Strum & Strumber — Episode 107 (Season Finale)
Paul Gilbert Joins the Challenge

Strum & Strumber is a guitar show where we challenge each other to learn a new lick every week — then play it together one take, no edits.
Games, penalties, brutally honest takes, and real improvement. New episodes every Tuesday.

This season finale is different — because the rules don’t change.

For Episode 107, the challenge comes full circle:
Sam and Roger travel to meet Paul Gilbert in person to play his own lick with him — together, on camera, one take, no edits.

No safety net.
No studio tricks.
Just three players in the room, facing the rules.

🎯 THE CHALLENGE
Paul Gilbert — “If You Soak Bread in the Sauce”
Learned in one week.
Played together, one take, no edits.

This finale includes two full challenge performances plus a bonus sustain-war mini-game with Paul.

🎯 PLAYER TALK / WISDOM
• What actually matters when you’re face-to-face with greatness
• Practice, discipline, and the long arc of musicianship
• Why honesty in playing still matters
• The difference between chops and music

This episode isn’t about celebrity.
It’s about the standard.
