My 130 year old, wonderful football club has had its reputation completely ruined. These owners need to get out now. No appeal, no cries of innocence. It’s MY club, OUR club and no amount of on-pitch success is worth this. I’m absolutely gutted and heartbroken by these corrupt merchants

Expulsion was designed as a sanction for this situation. Without a doubt, it must be used.

Why don't they just ban them like they do in sport as it's effectively financial doping

102 point deduction
7 seasons transfere ban
1.7Billion fine
2 seasons of playing with 8 men.
Every game should start with 3-0 score line aganist city

Getting compensation of £100m isn't enough when we were robbed of 3 Premier League titles, we couldn't even buy an Enzo Fernandez with that money.

PL needs to nail them for not complying and dragging it out by appealing

It's fraud. HMRC get involved, refer to criminal court, arrests made. Period.

A very well articulated summary.

Easily the most articulate and broken down report I have come across so far. Nice one Ben. 💯

I think you'll find Maresca's quote comes from Manuel in Fawlty Towers "I know nothing"

Pep Guardiola received a four-month ban and a €50,000 fine in 2001 after testing positive for the anabolic steroid nandrolone while playing for Brescia in Italy's Serie A

They run the club like the vape shops\barbers and car washes that have sprung up over the last 5 years.

Looking at the verdict from the commission there's one important point, that the commission said that even if City won their argument regarding the nature of the "sham" additional sponsorship payments, then those total sponsorship payments are way above the expected FVM (fair market value) for the club. However, looking back at the additional "sham" sponsorship payments the leaked/hacked emails are very damming evidence indeed.
