Natty bros, drop your PRs

Probably don't want to say "He had a big heart" at the funeral in cases like this.

It blows my mind that in 2024, you have to blur out the word ‘death’, even in text, because the YouTube algorithm can’t figure out that this is a medical research channel and that it doesn’t violate the TOS.  They still can’t get it tight

my friend was obsessed with bodybuilding since he turned 16, started to take steroids in his early 20's and didnt even turn 30...

Found Steroxxe mentioned on an old forum thread and figured I’d try. Didn’t expect much, but they actually followed through

The strain on your organs and lingering effects of steriod and sarms cannot be understated.
You'd force your whole hormone system out of whack causing skin, organ and mental challenge's aswell and your balls will shrink from abusing that shit.
Remember, you only hear the successful stories, the unsuccessful stories are most of the time not told.

Maybe a low TRT dose at higher age might be beneficial, since your hormone production reduces with age.

Most people have no idea how popular steroids are nowadays. Users mainly just don’t talk about it

Yeah, steroid abuse is glorified and its risks are often dismissed. Thank you for making this video.

Rich Piana talked about doing steroids openly and guided others not to follow his mistakes, he wasn't bad, he exactly knew how he will end

I thought about roids in college when seeing a teammate warm up with 405 on bench for 12. I struggled to get 385 once. He blew out his knee just coming out of his stance in a game, wasn’t touched. Turns out his ligaments were utterly shot because he was using such rapid weight increases and joints didn’t build up with his muscles. In a month I was out lifting him when he quit the juice to rehab his knee. I decided it wasn’t worth the risk and am glad I didn’t give in.

Just a quick correction, this video implied that Mike O'Hern takes steroids, he actually leverages highly anabolic duck eggs to maintain his super hero frame into and beyond middle age.

A sibling of mine started using them and his whole personality changed. Now is totally isolated from friends and family due to aggressive nature.

Forget ball shrinking, your heart literally rotting while you're still alive is horrifying.

You just saved a life by making this video.

As someone who had ever so slightly considered trying steroids I say thank you. Thank you for giving me the information to make an informed choice (in addition to my other research). I will NOT be partaking.

The sample size should reflect the number of people who exercise regularly, not the population as a whole.  When this is factored, you will realize that the number of people using steroids is massive.

As a female- one thing I ALWAYS wanted was abs. I worked out with a personal trainer (both male and female) and dietician for almost 5 years in my early 20s. Finally, I came to the realization that my body shape is just not meant for exposed abs. My female trainer tried to offer me steroids many times to help me achieve my goal. I almost said yes a few times because I thought I wouldn’t be happy if I didn’t reach my goal.

Now, in my early 30s I am active, fit, do aerial sports and still don’t have noticeable definition in my stomach, but I know I’m strong in my core and that’s what counts.

I hate seeing men and women, especially young men and women get into steroids. But I also understand the appeal. Just hope if I can prevent even one person from getting started, I’ll be happy. I feel good in my body and my body is the only one I get. It’s important to take care of it.

I'm a male, 5'8 and 24, I dont know why but that case at the beginning hit me especially hard. It feels like looking at a version of myself that made the wrong decisions for the sake of appearance. Oddly helpful video for self-acceptance

A colleague at work who was a doctor died from steroid abuse. He was a beast but it’s really sad as he was only 40 and only just became a consultant.
