what makes a good youtuber?  The ability to fire 3 rounds a minute in any weather.

95th Rifles. The only crew to keep Sean Bean alive for a whole series

That absolute 95th Rifles D R I P

Former Rifleman here. The Baker rifle is still awarded annually to the top shot at the battalion shooting competition. The Rifleman doesn't get to keep it, but it's held for the year by their parent company, before being handed back to the battalion the following year for the next competition.

You would have hit every shot and been able to reload nearly instantly if Mel Gibson told you “aim small, miss small”

The Sharpe intro song had no business going that hard

Admin always cooks up another larp that hits harder than grapeshot

Lets see paul allens Baker Rifle

The nostalgia of sharpe music is unreal. Love that series and love in Lord of the Ring when Boromir picks up the sword and said it's still sharp.

“Tis no sin being born in the dirt, but tis an awful sin to want to die there” Sgt Patrick Harper, Chosen man.

“Do you know what makes a good sharpe reference?”

“Aye sir, ‘putting now that’s soldiering’ after every single statement about the video, in under a minute of the video’s upload sir.”

"WHAT MAKES A GOOD SOLDIER?"
"THE ABILITY TO FIRE THREE ROUNDS A MINUTE IN ANY WEATHER!"

Here's forty shillings on the drum
For those who volunteer to come,
To 'list and fight the foe today
Over the Hills and far away.

Sharpe mentioned, this made my evening. Thank you, and remember....three rounds a minute.

When I was a young man (11-12) I discovered the Sharpe books in my local library. I didn't have a dad growing up, but Richard Sharpe became my father figure. I read ever single one of those books and then read them again. I read almost everything that Bernard Cornwell ever wrote. At 18 I enlisted and was then selected to attend West Point. I became an Infantry Officer in the 82nd and based a lot of how I lead and trained men on how Sharpe lead and trained his. I hopeBernard Cornwell really understands the impact he had on at least young infantry officer. Great video and I'm glad a younger generation of young men might be introduced to Sharpe and his style.

The Archibald bit is so good

Major Lennox liked and commented, Sir. As would you have, Sir. If you had an honour.

Bro Dr. Archibald Longbottom is a G whoever he is

You forgot one very HUGE thing regarding these old formations. They wouldn't always make 2 men line formations, it was incredibly common to have formations with rotating lines with steady yet rapid firing. If everyone could reload in 20~ seconds, imagine a wall of men lined up 7 guys deep, going the the end of the line after firing and reloading as they wait their turn to fire again. Thats a LOT of lead flying at you without a break
