When replacing a uv bulb always clean the quartz tube is my top tip what's probably addicting the dirt more is a dirty quartz

I took my fine filter floss out of my shower and noticed how much fines I had in my pond so I put it back in and it’s now looking like bath water
Before you have a bath 😂😂

Why did you stop using the trident?

Hi Dave yeah I’ve just had to purchase a 4’x4’ paddling Pool to put my 2 sturgeons in, today I’ve made up a small DIY filter for it can’t believe how cloudy Sturgeon food goes in the pool, I had to start a treatment last week for White Spot on the Koi and used Formaldehyde spoken to Leon and he recommended to also use Malachite as well so will be doing another treatment tomorrow for the Koi 🤦‍♂️

Have you tried slowing the pump down on the nexus? Give the media a chance to grab the fines. I run a nexus and have really clear water 👍

Fmg is fine with sturgeon I’ve used most general treatments with sturgeon had no problems 👍

Can you tell me why you went back to the east over the trident

Lovin the Gin Rin here too, got a superb little GinRin Shiro Utsuri from Toni & Bob about 8 weeks back, along with a Chagoi, guess which one is I'd say 5 times heavier than t'other now :face-blue-smiling: Then had the urge for another GinRin - found a great little Ochiba Shigure at Cotswold Koi, they're a pair of proper bobby dazzlers, I'll get a decent photo one day :yougotthis:
