Penn State took the team that finished in 8th place in the Big 12 last year, dressed them in new uniforms, put them in a tougher conference, and thought they would win?

I cant fathom how any team, much less Penn State, could give up over 400 yards on the ground.

I never understood the Matt Campbell praise while he was at Iowa State. His biggest accomplishment in Ames was making sure they never completely sucked and made a bowl game most years. He was the Tom O’Brien of the Midwest at ISU. He’s being exposed now.

They hired the 6th best coach in the Big 12 and he brough over all of his mid at best Big 12 players. Did Penn St fans really expect different results?

This was a dumpster fire year, blame Pat Kraft for that. They waited too long to hire Cambell!! The 2026 recruit class disappeared and players left thru the transfer portal, so his only option to have a team was to get Iowa State players to come to PSU. Now comes the REALLY hard job of convincing good players to come to this program!!!

Regretting firing James Franklin are we?

It's definitely possible to go from decent to worse firing a good coach without a really good coach as a replacement.  Tennessee fired Phil Fulmer and has not been as good for a lot of years.  The schools like Georgia who fired Mark Richt and end up with Kirby Smart are few and far between.

He is exactly right when he says Penn State is a terrible team and unfortunately we're stuck with Campbell for a few years.  PSU is looking at having loosing seasons for quite some time.  Kraft has to be fired for not having a better coach than James Franklin locked in when Kraft made the decision to fire a coach that had winning records and a final 4 appearance.

Oregon has played only ranked teams aside from Portland State so far.... FEBU 🦆

It's the Adidas curse

It's just what was a middling Iowa State team and dressed them in blue and white.

I don't know if I would call Oregon mediocre because if you look at who they played. They opened the season against the Pac-12 champion and lost to what will vary likely be the Big 12 champion and then dominated USC in their house and I must win game with their backup QB who how was cold Off the Bench

I wouldn't say Penn State is below Michigan at this point. Michigan is an unearned second away from being under .500

But where does Penn State rank in academic performance?  This is college, or does that not matter anymore.

Campbell will figure it out

As a Pitt fan..... good😂😂😂😂

Well switching to Adidas as your outfitter surely didn't help I would know. #GoBlue

STOP!!  College football teams generally have about 100 players, so if you do the math, ISU transfers make up 24% of the PSU roster...what about the rest of the 76%...hmmmm?!  Quit "blaming" Iowa State as this is what YOU chose.  YOU selected this coach and you had NO issues with him decimating the Cyclone football team so quit whining.  ISU had no choice when trying to replace 80+ players.  This is the sixth game of the season so it's time that you put on your "big boy" pants and take responsibility for YOUR actions.  This PSU team ARE Penn State so quit bringing Iowa State into the mix.  (By the way, no way does Penn State have better uniforms than ISU...PSU's uniforms are rather homely and PSU school colors are not impressive, just like their uniforms)

He wasn’t even that good at Iowa State

Are the PSU fans going to apologize to Franklin?
