This is, without a doubt, the hardest and most complicated platinum trophy that I have ever attempted. It's a good thing that I ended up really enjoying this game because I DEFINITELY would've been a salty splatoon if I didn't lol.

I've learned a few things from watching this video but most importantly it's that having Maria follow you around at that pace must be excruciatingly painful and I commend you

Silent Hill's music always makes me comfortable yet really sad at the same time. What a great game

To this day SH2 is still one of the best psychological horror games ever made. Nothing will trump this masterpiece of a game

I would call the Leave ending the "good" ending, for the most part. At least between the three main ones.

The platinums name says it all. "She would be proud". Congratulations bro, you completed one of the hardest trophy hunts out there!!!

The yoda death sound got me laughing, I wonder who did it

I also have to add.... I am dying over here at "Twitch chat decided that it was ok to completely ruin emotional scenes". Hell yeah we do! It's right up there with stealing fries.

As a Silent Hill 2 fan who played on Ps2, and Xbox 360 Silent Hill HD collection versions, It's always refreshing to see other gamers who have NEVER played the game make content about the game. It let's me relive my Ps2 era days and remembering all the pain. Now I just speed run the game and win it in less than an hour most times (Dog ending of course)

I remember platting SH2 when it came out. I felt like that cop who went down the slide by the time I'd done it. If its any consolation, Silent Hill 3's platinum by comparison is MUCH MUCH easier.
Props to you for even putting up with the HD collection at all to be honest.

Breaks my heart that the horribly botched HD collection was your first experience with silent hill 😢

Hardest challenge IVE ever had to do is stand up from the work bathroom after watching this whole thing while im meant to be working.

Great vid man.

Regarding everything you mentioned with In Water - you don't have to do of those things, but those are the things that make it more likely for you to get the ending. The first time I played SH2 I got In Water, but the only things from that list that I did were be really low health a lot and listen to the entire Maria dialogue at the end. I never found that text in the bar until my third or fourth play through, probably only examined Angela's knife once, never found the headphones in the hotel, etc.

You know Silent Hill 2 apparently has a mechanic where if you havn't gotten an ending yet the game skews the point system so you are more likely to get an ending you don't have.
