Congratulations with the Silent Hill 2 Remake platinum Matt! It was an honour being part of your first 24 hours stream when you played it. Keep the amazing work coming brother.

Gawd like Matt is one of the only legitimate platinum YouTubers. You can tell he’s the one actually playing these games, respect

Apparently the Scourge Of Toluca Lake trophy is a reference to rumors about the original game. There was lots of playground talk and maybe gaming magazines of people thinking there had to be secrets around the lake part there. People would spend a lot of time boating around to find treasures, land, anything. Therefore spend 10 minutes on the lake, wasting time hunting for treasures. Pretty funny.

That james & eddie edit was CHEFS KISS lmao
Awesome video bro you crushed it!

1:05 “YOU’ll BE SORRRRRRYY!”

I’ve been rewatching your OG platinum in anticipation for this!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but you CAN use firearms for the trophy. You can only kill enemies with melee weapons, meaning only the final hit has to be from the melee weapon. I did this on steam and got the trophy.

i randomly found ur channel and your already one of my fav channels

i respect your patience SO MUCH bro...people dont understand how difficult some trophies are to get...keep gooooing

2:10 "Stop it, stop it! He's already dead!" 😭🤣

As said in the premiere, amazing mixture of both informative commentary and great funny moments. My favourite was the neck choke scare 😂keep up the great work 😊

Got my platinum yesterday! Def my fav platinum to date. Glad i could catch one of your streams!

I also played my first time on hard combat and puzzles.
I think the only reason I ended up getting the Leave ending instead of In Water was because I seeked out EVERY LITTLE note and recording the game had to offer. I truly took this experience in to the fullest I could.
Which included listening to Mary belittle James in the hallway before the final showdown.
I never checked out the letter, or the knife either.
This game was a damn fine remake and I spent 90 percent of my time with that red hue on my border for sure. GG on getting the plat buddy

THe melee "only" trophy is a lot easier than it seems since it only counts killing blows. You can use guns to stun or weaken stuff, just as long as a melee attack is the killing blow it still counts as a melee kill

It would've been so funny to have the 10 star run back in the remake, yet the game is amazing on its own right

Awesome video buddy. I have been waiting for this one. Congrats on conquering the platinum. I spent 50 hours to achieve the platinum myself. I absolutely love SH2R. you're right, definitely one of the best remakes ever made. This is one for the books.

This game has to be in the top 10 game remakes of all time, right next to the 2004 Resident Evil remake

Bloober pulled it off better than anyone could have ever imagined, the game is sublime from start to finish and some of the changes even elevated the material in certain ways. 10/10 experience

2:17, Dead Space moment…
10:00, I love the music in Silent Hill 2.

Nicely done getting the platinum, it was an honor being part of the 24 hour stream

Congratulations for getting this Platinum Matt glad you liked the game a lot I also like this game as well even though I haven't got the platinum yet but I will be doing at some time in the future really enjoyed the video I give it a 10 out of 10 keep up the good work as always dude and keep happy trophy hunting and as always I shall see you on the next one😊❤
