One of the things I learned years ago when making my first journal, is to leave a teeny bit of space when you glue your pages down, about 1/8th of an inch or so from the seam, and your book won't fan out so much.  When you glue all your pages that close to the seam you make it spread.

The walmart mini composition books have 80 pages. Love the mini glue book. I love miniatures. Thank you for sharing.

In my family we all love cheesecake! Many years ago I started buying cheesecakes to celebrate all of our birthdays. Then my youngest daughter started making them for our birthdays. She has made all different flavors and they all are delicious. I bought her Golden Girl socks with cheesecakes on them one year for Christmas. ❤🧀

I love this idea. I clip pictures, sayings, Bible verses from magazines all the time. This is an excellent way to save them.

I love small. I usually do index cards. I bought the books that hold them from Amazon that you showed on a video. I have an older small comp book that actually says 80 sheets/ 160 pages. Thanks for your wonderful videos.

Thank you for introducing me to beautiful origami paper! Great idea to keep a book slimmer :finger-red-number-one:

I love this idea!!! I have so many partially used mini comp books that I can rip out the used pages and make pretty notebooks!
I thought I was the only person who doesn’t like purple!  My late husband didn’t like purple either.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful artsy inspirations!!!❤

I am enjoying watching this video! I have used a lot of these mini books to make purse sized notebooks. I cover the back and front, add little ephemera and add pockets to the inside covers. I then put little stuff in the pockets and add a small bookmark! I am now wanting to make a tiny glue book! Looks like fun and I have lots of things to put in one.
Yes, I'm following the sad story of Nancy Guthery. I'm in my 80's and have mobility issues and heart failure so I can relate. My son lives in Tucson so I have been there several times. I just hope and pray they return her alive.

I always have enjoyed the smaller projects such as twinchies and ATC's more than bigger ones. My gluebooks and art journals are usually always A6 size.
In Dutch we have a word called "frunniken" which means fiddling. And that is what it feels like for me, fiddling with tiny pieces of ephemera to make something nice. And it relaxes me greatly!

27:14 the chicken image is HILARIOUS 🤣👍❤

hehe the asmr of snoring in the background

I feel you on missing the dog snores one day!! I sure miss mine. The house was so empty, quiet, and sad when he left me. I thought of that often while he was alive. My little boston terrier, Toby Dale. I was just talking to my mom about the Boston I grew up with. She always slept on my bean bag chair in my room and I would race her to sleep so I could fall asleep before she started snoring 😂😂 I miss her too!

I've seen other youtubers mention that the mini compo books do have less papers.

My parents recently moved out of state and left a bunch of stuff, including most of my mom’s scrapbooking supplies. I will be scrapbooking with them of course, but I love this and the postcards for other fun little projects ❤

I love the idea of using a little composition book to glue in. I think it would be really fun, especially after seeing all your tiny images that you have collected. I’m with the other person who mentioned the girl with the pink cake, she  would have looked  awesome on the chicken legs. You had the legs right beside her as you were gluing her on the cake page. I was so hoping you would put them together. You can always cut her out & glue her on another page with the chicken legs?? My husband & I are definitely watching the Super Bowl. Go Seahawks! Also the Olympics, depending on what sport, & the Guthrie story is just bizarre & sad. I hope she is found alive & well, safely returned to her family. If it goes the other way, God forbid, Arizona has the Death penalty. That POS monster deserves that punishment.           Enjoy your weekend Nicole & decorating for the big game! ❤

It's like a book of ATCs!!

How fun! I live in the PDX area too! Came across your YT this afternoon + have been enjoying them. Thanks for sharing your crafts!

Can't get that in a Tim Holtz pack 😅Love your commentary and humor.

You CAN eat frosting by itself! I do it.
