'This is precint assault' have the intro to the multiplayer/pve mode embedded in my memory from playing this game so much on a Ps1 demo disk.

00:30 Personally, I have 2 that I believe need more love and recognition. First City Crisis for the PS2 needs more attention to it because it was an amazing rescue game where you flew around a couple of helicopters like the firefighters on and the police one where you got to save people from a burning building or chase criminals in their cars from above. The second would be Chrome Hounds that was also a PS2 game, it had giant war mech you could pilot and customize and get upgrades for the mech after missions both really incredible games that need a remaster

This is the absolute first game that I've ever played, because it was added as a free demo to the graphics card that my dad got when building his first PC around 2002. Never clicked on a video that fast.

40:49 Pandemonium was my SHIT as a kid

Wild 9 was one I wanted to play really bad but never got too

I had FutureCop as a kid and loved it. Always wanted a remaster of this one.

I always liked the pimp-mobile in vigilante 8 it had an area affect attack that used its sound system to damage enemies.

@Jobe00 1 month ago

Vigilante 8 was supposed to be a sequel to the Interstate '76 series.
Herzog Zwei was an odd game I have played at a friend's place. Sadly, that friend passed early yesterday morning.
A favorite PSX racing game I liked was the original Jet Moto.

This and crime killer were both such cool games back on the OG PS, so many good games that got forgotten and will never forget that most of my playstation collection came from self run second hand game shops in stockport as a kid and of course BlockBusters. Regarding obscure vehicles from old games its gotta be the Valkyrie fighter from startrek invasion or the fighter from X2 also back on the PS1.

i got this game on the demo disk of PS magazine back in the day
loved the level i was able to play, but could not find a copy of the full game in my small corner of wales
hearing Karl talk about it rings bells, but as soon as i saw the graphics i remember the game
thank you

Shoutout to Extreme-G! There's a recompilation project for PC that released yesterday I think, definitely worth checking out

Diddy Kong racing was amazing and I would love a remaster

I love the VS mode of Future Cop. Not a fan of the main game, but I loved that vs mode.

So the game i remember for ps1 that I played that i wasnt supposed to play was cyphen filter, and you can set enemies on fire with the taser. The taser was so long range and OP too. Fun violent game. And of course the first two twisted metals. And my favorite, not so niche, game was Pokémon Gale of Darkness. I've still never met a person in real life who has owned a copy as well. Oh and theres a 3D pacman game for the GameCube that was actually pretty fun but never beat it...
