Very underrated movie

Seeing Christine on fire chasing Buddy is literally one of the scariest scenes in movie history

Arnie never drove Christine to kill any of the bullies. Christine did it all. But Arnie knew.  🚘 👀

After the original Halloween, this is easily my favorite J Carpenter movie. So underrated.

“Duel (1971)” by Steven Spielberg and “The Car (1977)” are good movies too.

Keith Gordon (Arne) was one of the teenagers on the boats (Jaws 2) being attacked by the shark.

The actor that played Arnie absolutely blew it off the map with his performance.

Straight classic. 🔥

fun fact, the repair effect was by multiple hydraulic rams inside pulling the car inwards, and then the video reversed!
and yes, a lot of these types of movies went through lots of cars every time it got damaged.

Fun fact: in the book, it is stated Christine was ordered to its owner's specifications.

All Plymouths Belevedere Furys from 1958 were "Golden Commandos" finished in two-tone beige with white roof & golden accents, beige leather interior with brown and gold details, and a golden painted engine with matching dual air filters from MOPAR, which gave it its name "Golden Commando".

Christine was the only car finished in: Specter/Spectre red & white roof with chrome accents, firefighter red and white interior details, and blood red as the engine's base colour, which in the books it has the red even in the dual air filters, unlike the movie in which those are chrome finished with red accents.

So yeah, the car was "Special" ever since it was ensembled at Chrysler's plant back in '57, as a '58 model. In the book it is described, a little too specific for the things to be coincidence, to me Christine, at least in the book, had no life until LeBay's brother performed a ritual to bring the car to life, or maybe the strong emotions gave it life, with 80's King You don't know for sure.

Are you in my walls I just watched the movie yesterday

Fun Fact, the actor for Arnie (Keith Gordon) directs a lot of the episodes for Dexter, and even briefly makes a cameo as one of the Kyle Butlers that Trinity goes after. Hes the guy dexter knocks out and tries to trap Trinity at

In filming “Christine” Director John Carpenter used some sixteen 1958 Plymouth Furys and additional Plymouths of different models but all painted red.

"Creepshow" is a movie I think you'd enjoy a lot for the Halloween season

8:44 This is one of the best lines in cinematic history 😂 And hearing it come out of the old neighbor guy from Home Alone is even more hilarious.

The epilogue of the book is pretty epic.  After Christine is crushed in the compactor, Dennis and Leigh date briefly, but it doesn't last for obvious reasons.  They both finish college.  Dennis takes a job on the east coast, while Leigh gets married and settles in Oklahoma.  A couple of years after moving east, Dennis gets word that the state cop was killed in a car accident.  He doesn't think much of it, until a month later when he hears that Leigh had been run over by a drunk driver.  He then realizes that Christine is working her way east, saving him for last.

Love this movie, the actor who plays Arnie is awesome and the effects on Christine when she`s fixing herself back up was amazing.

This movie is a CLASSIC!

Keith Gordon's transformation is done really well. Kuddo's.

45:15 they do.  That is why Dennis told Lee that Christine would show up even if Arnie didn't

David Gordon Green got his inspiration for Halloween ends from this movie
