"You think the world is simple, because I made it simple for you!"   great line

Neat seeing a stormtrooper be nice to a civilian for once.

"you think the world is simple, because i made it simple for you" DAMN, ouch!

I love how quickly the uncle hid the lightsaber after she held it up. He knew what it was, and probably also the punishment for possessing one

Stormtrooper 1:
"We need back up!"
Stormtrooper 2:
"...For a little girl?"

it’s honestly refreshing to see people who completely buy into the imperial propoganda

This kinda shows the humanity in troopers in a way...very interesting...

Wow, imperial storm troopers that actually have a little personality. This was great, not just one dimensional. I would love to see part two.

"I trusted you! ;_;"
cried the Storm Trooper, pointing his Blaster at the young girl...

Her conversation with the stormtrooper was a great addition, because it humanises the enemy instead of having them just be nameless bad people.

I like that it was the forceghost that was doing the fight and not the gírl

The blonde girl is kinda like the opposite of Rey; a nice and bubbly scavenger.

That storm trooper had more character development than Rey did in the entire first film

The beginning where they have an exchange about tie fighters, the trooper wanting to become a pilot, and ending with a very friendly farewell, was the most humanizing piece of star wars I have seen. The interaction highlighted the fact that some people believed in the empire until they were exposed to, or became victims of, its brutality. This whole video was extremely well done.

someone please explain to me how low budget short films made by Star Wars fans are better than the actual feature films that Disney churns out

i like how this film shows the humanity of stormtroopers :•)

I could totally see this as an extended series on Disney Plus, with this being the pilot episode. The actress for Pai was incredibly believable, and her initial belief in the good intentions of the imperials  present on the planet made for a good contrast to other movies in the star wars saga. I thoroughly enjoyed this start to finish!

i legit forgot i was watching a fan film when it ended

There's so many things I like about this, but perhaps my two favorite is giving the stormtrooper a real personality, and the way that she defeated the troopers. It wasn't that she just suddenly learned how to weild a lightsaber because plot, but rather she let the force ghost act through her to defeat them. Showing her potential while still letting her naturally grow and develop.

Can we just appreciate the MUSIC SELECTION
