THE BATTLE OF HOTH is far from over.
As Imperial forces push deeper into Echo Base, Captain Wendon and the remaining Rebels prepare for one final stand inside the hangar.
Deep within the abandoned base, engineer Kyla races to restore power before time runs out.
Above the frozen world, a crippled Star Destroyer struggles to regain control. With communications failing and only a handful of TIE fighters available, the battle begins to unravel on every front.
Meanwhile, Colonel Haydor finds himself cut off from command, searching for answers in a war that no longer makes sense.
As both sides fight to survive, loyalties are tested, impossible choices must be made... and the fate of Hoth is far from decided.
I'm Bo Wilder. I make the kind of stories I grew up loving... a bit of '80s space adventure, grit, and practical-feeling sci-fi. This film is inspired by the look and feel of the original Star Wars trilogy.
If you enjoy this kind of storytelling, I'd love to have you along for the journey. There is much more to come.
This is an unofficial Star Wars fan film.
Star Wars and all related characters, names and elements are the property of Lucasfilm Ltd. and Disney.
Made with respect and love for the original films.

Watertight doors exist below the waterline on ships. Similar to how they work on Echo Base.
Now, if you've ever lived on ships, you know that there are 3 ways to operate a watertight door:
1. There are buttons next to the door to open or close it.
2. The doors can be opened or closed remotely from the bridge.
3. In the event of a power failure, there's a manual lever you can use to operate the hydraulic pump that opens or closes the watertight door.
When our hero gets to the door, the buttons don't work so she has to use the hydro pump lever to open it. I've never personally used a blaster to shoot the control panel, so I can't say with any accuracy whether a laser blast can disable the controls, but I can tell you that the hydro pump lever thing is totally accurate. I've used it twice.
I doubt most people caught that detail, but OP knew about it and included it in the video, and that's pretty dang cool.
This is impressive work.
I wonder how much of it was practical effects, which are the best.
I know greenscreens and CGI were used.
But you hit the ball out of the park with the quality and the faithfulness to Star Wars.
Not just a home run.
But a grand slam.
It was also this "we go through hell" thing, where the main characters sometimes had completely different oufits.
What I'm trying to say is, just because it's a trilogy doesn't mean the films have to look the same.
That's why fans love to make material from the old films, because each film stands on its own, each film looks different from the other.
