Backyard Sports is always a masterpiece.

Even the OSTs for each games slapped. Not just the Madden games either

Nfl 2k5 best football game ever, then Madden took over the competition.

Until EA loses the NFL license or goes under, Madden will continue to micro transaction you to death and it's going to get more expensive

I'm a fifth year senior at college right now, and NFL Street does numbers with my friend group. They had never played it before we met last year, and now they always ask to play whenever we hang out.

I ended up buying Street 2 because of it.

NFL video games peaked with NFL 2k5. Best NFL game ever made. Even 22 years later.

I'm still blown away no game studio has come around to fill this gap and make fictional teams and stadiums but with 2010-2015 level graphics and gameplay.

We've lost so many awesome, fringe games in all genres. I loved the non-Madden football games. Blitz, street, etc. The same thing has happened to all sports games, and racing games as well. And that genre has been the hardest hit imo

2K5 was just so good. The crib!

Just asking for what we had 25+ years ago and maybe getting some of it back is the 2026 experience

MUTANT LEAGUE FOOTBALL on the Genesis was my favorite football game back in the day

Would have been nice if you mentioned the Maximum Football games. They show that people are and have been trying to get around the exclusive deal EA signed. It wasn't the NFL, but they were still football video games.

I’ve played so many Madden’s but I remember this certain football game that had the NFL teams in it where you gained power ups and stuff like that. Wish I could find that game again.
