I have heard so many versions of the sonata through the years and Alicia de Larrocha and Andre Previn's is the best by far. The musicality and sense of style is beyond perfection!

Sorry Barenboim/Argerich but speed doesn’t always do it justice, this interpretation is what i prefer

There is something about Andre and Alicia together. An embrace, a race to the finish line! Mozart was Andre’s fave composer, and it shows.

Finally! Found the right recording.

Nobody beats Alicia's rendition of Mozart! She understood the music humanly.

The best of all the versions by people I most admire including Britten and Richter. This just makes complete sense, musically. They also enjoy playing together.

I imagine this magnificent interpretation is just the way Mozart himself imagined it.
Unhurried yet still sparkling. Perfect tempo; perfect in all respects. The more I listen to it the better it gets.  Thanks.
