En Palma nácí en 1941, bella ciudad. Saludos Steve y Anita.

I see the island is getting ready for Halloween. Britain too is getting ready for both Halloween and Guy Fawkes

Thanks Steve - for showing us the less palatable side of Mallorca's tourist industry the homeless tents and free food line, the situation has  definitely got worse since I was a resident. You are quite right to point out that this is not a unique situation in high urban concentrations worldwide. I dont blame the tourists who never leave their resort, they after all pay an increasing amount of money each year for their precious holiday. But I do believe through reports such as yours they should be made more aware of the situation they are unwittingly creating.

I always like when you take a walk around the capital, always interesting buildings. Thanks Steve.

Good to see the real life of majorca not the idealic way some think it is!

The housing problem is getting worse due to the popularity of the islands and foreigners buying up properties. It seems that the authorities are now trying to help which is good.

We were in palma yesterday and portal nous the day you were there cant believe we never met . Heading home tonight . Saw those tents and .ade it all  come real
