No need to apologies for your video, you are doing the best you can do with what you have.
Myself, I am using a GoPro Hero 3 silver edition until it dies. Yeah the video shakes, but it does help give the viewer an idea of how bumpy the road is... hehe Oh, and another thing is that I found an individual that also has a 2009 Honda Shadow, mine just happens to be an Aero.

I just purchased my first bike. It’s a Honda Shadow 600. I am down the road in Lawrenceburg. I will have to ride to Lynchburg. Looks like a good ride.

Around 11 minutes had some pretty harsh bumps, seemed like it held stable and absorbed quite a bit of it. I really don’t see why so many people dog on Honda bikes. I hear plenty of people around me that have a die hard devotion to Harley’s, Indians and Triumphs, but anything else they consider junk. I’ve been tossing the idea of getting a Pioneer 1000 beings the area I live is legalizing road use of UTVs within the next year. Then I started looking into their motorcycles and both the Fury and the Shadow Phantom caught my attention. I’ve been considering the Fury, but I feel like my height vs leg length and sitting lower to the floor would not be as comfortable, especially if my wife wanted to ride with me. So I’ve been pretty set on the Phantom. I feel like the 745 VT would also give me a little more mileage than the beefier 1312 VT. That’s a lot of why I’ve taken interest in bikes, not only because I cannot afford getting 18-19mpg in this economy, but hearing my father in law get 42-45mpg out of his Bolt 950, I’d take $10-20 a week over $140 a week and the only time I wouldn’t be riding the bike is bad weather or bitter cold.

I gotta be honest though, as much as I love the sound of the V&H exhaust, I’d have to be sure I use hearing protection of some kind unless I left mine OEM because I get migraines triggered by loud noise, which sucks considering I grew up never being bothered by hearing loud sounds, now it drives my head batty.

Shadow stock exhaust sound pretty good, especially when you put some mileage on them. Many years ago I had a HD with open pipes and they gave my girlfriend headaches.
