When I bought my Vstar 650, I turned the front pipe bronze/blue just like yours. A little bit of any decent metal polish and some cotton stockinette will return it to chrome pretty quickly. Just FYI, starting proceedure per the manual is to start it at full choke for only a few seconds, then half choke for up to 2 minutes. Should be able to push the choke all the way in after you're a few blocks down the road as long as it isn't super cold out. Keeping the choke in for too long is the number 1 thing that will discolor the front pipe on these bikes, followed by incorrect carb adjustment. You managed to caputure the V-twin sound nicely though! Most videos you can only hear the engine noise if the bike only has a stock exhaust.
Muito bom! eu amo essa moto! eu amo esse motor! que video excelente! sem musica, sem frescura, somente o som do motor e a estrada!❤aqui no Brasil veio com nome Yamaha Dragstar 650.
Hello, I really like it. You make great clips. I don't know if other channels have something like this, but yours is really good. Wow, you did a great job. At the end of the clip, the engine is turned off. But can you make it about 2 hours to 2 hours and 50 minutes? It would be really great. I'm Thai. I like your clips and I follow them. I like the sound of the V-twin engine and I really like this car model. My name is Tueklek. I'm Thai and I'm blind. I like listening to the sound and imagining. Okay, you've done well making clips like this, but please make them longer, like 2 hours. At the end of the clip, the engine is turned off. That's great. It's really excellent.
You have a nice bike and setup. I bought a 650 Classic just before Christmas. It's my first bike and I'm anxiously waiting for the spring so I can ride. In the meantime, I really enjoyed your video. I'm also looking at windshields as I currently don't have one. Which one do you have?
Very nice video. I really enjoyed it. I just have one question. When you were downshifting on your left you were also giving a slight pick up on your right. Why is that? can you kindly explain.
I own a 2002 vstar 650 custom. Im 5'10 230 pounds. Do you feel the 650 is under powered on highways? Atleast for me when im going 65mph and there are cars passing me lol
