Steve Vai is one of the most interesting men on the planet.

Musicians make great interviewers, they really bring out the best in artists, instead of the usual fanboy rhetoric, this is the best interview I've seen with Steve Vai. Instead of the god-like posturing that the media feed us he really is a regular dude. I'm definitely more of a fan now, having seen this side of him. Respect to Nikki.

Ralph Macchio taught steve everything he knows

I used to "dj" at my sons hockey games and when the game was over and people were getting ready to leave, I would always play "For the Love of God" and sometimes people would come over and ask what I was playing and they would say that they never heard it before but its such a beautiful song. It was so cool to reach out and share Steve's music with people that never heard of him. I felt like i made a difference in the world.

This show is quite addicting.  I mean I've listened to the radio show for years but it's nice to have the video with it.

Nikki is a good interviewer, he keeps the show moving along and doesn't get too side tracked.

Vai is just a musical monster yet obviously remains very grounded.

We all knew Nikki was cool, but who ever would have thought how insightful and humble he seems to be?

Nikki I'm doing the same thing, im 52 years old, I always been a singer and Rhythm guitarist, but 6 months ago I bought an electric guitar and started learning leads, I like your show and u rock too hope one day I meet u in person

Probably one of the best Steve Vai interviews ever

Always great to listen to Steve Vai. He is such an enlightening person.

Seriously, I think this is the most sincere and real interview I have ever seen.

I love that Nikki is still such a music fan and openly wants to be better when he has nothing to prove to anyone. Just one very cool dude. Steve Vai, brother, you ARE a game changer.

Steve Vai is a true musician and a dedicated player. I thought this interview was really great. I saw him in 2005 in Baltimore with billy sheehan.  Phenomenal show.

Jen is so hot! Love Steve Vai! So down to earth! Great show Nikki!

This is one of (if not the best) musician interview shows ever.

I like these kinds of Interviews, in the studio & you learn stuff you didn't know

So I didn't read the comments at first.  I just immediately started typing stuff about, " Man this is an awesome honest cool interview.  Such real dudes, blah blah then I posted it and had to edit it right then!  damn,  this interview hit everyone the same... Cool for me to feel like part of the group for once!

I remember reading an article where Vai said he would love to jam with Prince. I wonder if that ever happened. That would have been amazing. Would love to hear it!

you're not that old nikki, you have so much more to offer, love your show,my dad named me after you and i'm so honored cause of that
