In addition to my lifelong interest in trains, I've always been a huge fan of the Disney Pixar Cars franchise, so what better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Cars franchise than by making a video that includes both? Metro was a cancelled Cars spinoff that focused on several branches of rail transit in the greater New York City region, and included several locomotive types that I saw and rode on several times in real life. Although there are a few videos that cover the premise of this chaotic story, none of them seem to cover the many real-life counterparts of each and every train character in this expansive universe, which is precisely what I'll be doing in this video. Whether each character has several concept sketches or in the background as a single pencil sketch, I'll be using my years of train related expertise to attempt to determine each and every train basis from Disney's cancelled Cars spinoff: Metro!
