This is my favorite tv show right now

This series is addictive and strangely comforting in these trouble times. About a happy simpler time when music was... everything.

dude, i love your channel so much. i was going through a pretty god awful time in my life a few months ago, but after randomly getting your white album sessions video in my recconmneded when it released, i decided to watch it despite not knowing much about this band. holy hell dude, im so glad i did! thank you so much for introducing the boys into my life- & many others, as previous comment sections have made clear!

now as a super die-hard fan, i know too much about this band & all the other crazy stuff that happened during their era & beyond. learning more & becomingg an extremely dedicated fan on my own, i've gained nothing but MORE respect for you. all of your videos have accurate, concise, & nuanced retellings of everything we as the public have avaliable to learn. i can't NOT mention how well your videos are to watch - pacing, simplicity, engagement, & no overstimulating nonsense or overediting. your voice overs are so entertaining & fun to listen to, simply put: your video style is quite literally perfect & everyone in this community who knows about your channel is so thankful for your work, passion, & dedication.

your videos got me into a band that saved my life. keep up the good work & i'm so happy to have another upload to watch! be expecting a new patron after my next paycheck, haha!

"Ringo on some bongos" is one of the most fun sentences I've EVER heard.

That intro did a fantastic job of putting it all into perspective, wonderfully written!

Love the fact this has the most dialog from the Beatles themselves in one of these videos. Really makes it feel like a extended Anthology.

Listening to that prologue really puts into perspective how much of today’s music scene exists in large part because of the Beatles. Artists can write books if they want to, lots of them have had acting careers on the side, they can do 73 shows in less than 8 months…even the idea of topping both the singles and albums charts for months on end is something many today take for granted, although that’s unfortunately because of just how broken the charts have become in just the last five years, let alone sixty.

And on that note, it also makes you think about how different things were to get all that going. Obviously, Beatlemania happened almost entirely through word of mouth and only a little bit of marketing (it’s been the reverse since at least the rise of the Internet), and largely indirectly at that, no thanks to the US media’s initial bemusement. The other big reason for me is because except for a few very specific markets, fan mobs are practically non existent these days — so many artists have enough security to stop such incidents before they can begin. Fans don’t pelt artists with stuff anymore either; that tends to get saved for Rocky Horror screenings.

…Or Minecraft screenings—what who said that?

Other than those aspects, the vast majority of these unprecedented situations in 1964 are pretty much standard in 2025, and I think we can all thank everyone involved in that crazy year for allowing it to be that way 👍❤️

There’s definitely some later Beatles tracks with harmonica. Rocky Racoon for example

Im enjoying these videos MORE than The Beatles Anthology- Lots and Lots of detail and fanstastic clips- Absolutely FAB👍👍

It's incredible how much they did in such a short time while never repeating themselves. Thanks for another great episode. Cheers!

Hey sports fans, how about that time the Beatles came to New York, stayed at the Plaza hotel, and were registered under their actual names? Hilarity ensues.

They seemed to have hit so quickly. I was a freshman in high school. It's like we went home one Friday and on Monday morning everyone was crazy about the Beatles. I've no idea how it really was, but that's how I remember it.

Tell Me Why is NOT UNREMARKABLE.

29:54 "Then they worked the fairly unremarkable Tell Me Why". It is a most remarkable song to me, with an infectious groove. To each his own.

Best TV series ever!

Always got a Kubrick vibe from your editing, love it

To quote Bill Murray, "if you think you want to be rich and famous, try just being rich"...
It's estimated that 45% of all US TVs were tuned to the Sullivan Show appearance. I used to think George was just a whiny bitch but I get it now. What's the point in playing live if you can't even hear yourself and you're risking your life to do so?

My good sir, you couldn't be more mistaken about Tell Me Why. It's electrifying. It had been L&M's attempt to write a Motown girl group song.

Now that’s what I’m talking about! The move details no one’s ever heard!

I don't remember ever sleeping at 21!
