I have to really hand it to Elizabeth Taylor for keeping her children out of the public eye and using them as pawns for attention. You I hardly saw that in Hollywood during the time she was a star. She kept these kids protected and she kept their lives private and let them decide if they wanted to come forward and be in the limelight or not. Many people didn't even know she had kids.

To me, at 75 years old, I’ve always unwaveringly thought Elizabeth Taylor was and remains the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. But beyond her personal beauty, her heart beauty always shone through. It’s a great testament to a mother’s Love, that her children developed their own independent productive creative lives, yet remain close even now. A beautiful legacy for a beautiful life lived well, always with love and compassion. ❤️

I think Elizabeth Taylor is still the most beautiful woman ever to grace this planet.

She was beautiful. She had a house in Westhampton Beach. I saw her in Gristedes once. I approached and asked if she was Elizabeth Taylor, she smiled graciously and said “yes I am” very sweetly. She had the most remarkable eyes I’ve ever seen. I did not want to intrude any further, so I just went about my shopping and left her alone to do hers. Seemed like a lovely person. 😊

Thank you for this!  It showed what a truly good woman Liz was…lots of heart & compassion for others!

On an American Airlines flight to New York in Sept. 1964, I was across the aisle from Christopher, Michael, and Liza.  They were lovely, well behaved children.  They entertained each other during the whole flight.  Wished Elizabeth had been on there, too.

I remember her son Michael on Dallas. He had a prominent role as a man in love w SueEllen , JR's wife. He was a wonderful actor. I wished at the time they'd keep him on the show. In my opinion, Elizabeth was an earth angel. She did so much for Aids research & was a big part of the reason it's no longer a death sentence. Such a beautiful soul, inside & out! May she RIP.

What a beautiful mother you were  to your children. ❤❤❤❤

They all inherited their mother's gorgeous eyes

She had a reputation of being a fiercely loyal friend, and her  family were the center of her life. Those things probably were like the quiet center of the storm that was her public life. She knew how to keep those two lives separate and taught her children the difference between the two.

She was much more maternal than many of us realized. Which makes her even more beautiful, a human being with a beautiful spirit.

I had no Idea Elizabeth had children. Im glad to hear she was a very good mother.❤

Great history background of her life and children

I went to School with Liza and  Michael,Beverly Vista, mid 1960s, they were very well adjusted, not  having a sense of entitlement

What a lovely mother she was. And she truly cared about other people as well.  Despite her fame and beauty she never became a diva.

Growing up in the public eyes made Elizabeth realise how important it was to give children an upbringing away from the spotlight. She was a star in every sense of the word. Her children do all have her amazing eyes. Thank you for telling the story ❤

Liz Taylor was the most beautiful actress in the history of Hollywood.

I don't admire many celebrities, but Liz Taylor was a force of nature. I'm in my 60s, and for decades I knew what it was like to be a beautiful woman. And the things she accomplished while under intense scrutiny and unbelievable pressure. Yes, doors opened. But on the other side are vipers, and worse. She was always surrounded by powerful men. I'm sure she saw other beautiful women get dogged out. She somehow managed to live on her own terms.
She wasn't self centered or self serving, like so many of them. She adopted a child. Not a perfect, picture ready child but a special needs child. That's a huge commitment and it speaks of her character. She was a mother, something she loved. She was a wife, many times. And she was a movie star. I don't know what they are now, but Liz really was a star. 🥰⭐️🌹

Elizabeth had some real wisdom.  She might have had a tumultous love life but . . . There was some real depth in her.  She had some empathy for people.  Her children were very interesting.  She allowed them to be who they were.  I love that she did that for them. This was beautifully done and thought provoking.  ❤

Elizabeth suffered so much pain and loss and more pain, but always was able to get up, try again and keep  loving.  It couldn't  have been easy for her children, but she was a loving mother through it all.

Maria, tho' adopted, favors Liz so much.
Both beautiful 😮😊
