Not mentioned is that Newman and Woodward had an affair but it ended and he returned to his wife and they had their third child. I would think this would deter most women but Newman and Woodward resumed their affair and the first marriage finally ended a few years later. I mention this because it's been annoying  that over the decades, we've had to listen to the media rhapsodize over their "fairy tale" marriage on magazine covers and whatnot when in fact it was not such a blessed thing for the first family.

Out of his sorrrow and pain, he built a massive  empire of noble charity works.  I admire that.   Our mistakes in past don't have to dominate our lives.  He is blessed that his "lucky" life produced such resources for good works in later years.  Many of us aren't so blessed. ✨️

He divorced his children  Abandonment is hard to get over when a parent is lauded.

That's Katie Couric at 17:58, 18:21 and 18:40, not Stephanie Newman.

Most men sadly give way more to the family they are with. The first family usually gets pushed away. Sad for the kids and damaging to most. My sons hold no grudge toward their dad who left when they were small. I told them truths about him when they were old enough and never taught hate. They had lots of hurt and disappointment when he never came to see them or paid for their upbringing. COURT finally awarded child support when the were in late teens. He hid his income for many years. NEWMAN did good things and although it can't make up for his failures, he tried .

what a wonderful family.  So many celebrities waste their fame and destroy their children.  These children each achieved something worthwhile.  Bravo.

So you show a “Sears” building?  Really?

What a blessed family. Today billionaires, hurting  the poor more,  create insurance that is killing the patient, poison our environment, create a chaos to benefit from it.  Create war to benefit from selling dangerous killing machines, and destroy humanity. I wish they had 10% of Paul Neman's kindness.

Thank You So Much For Given An Amazing Video ❤😊

Check your photos. You have many photos of a celebrity interviewer/anchor who was not Paul Newman's daughter!

I cannot but feel for original families. The first wife and the resulting children.

Hero who abandoned his family

Scott’s eyes are brown. How could they ever look like his father’s blue eyes? Scott is very handsome as he is and did not need to look like his father.

What struck me most was how Susan dedicated her life to fighting the very problem that took her brother Scott, only to later end up in a legal battle over her father’s foundation. Such a complicated family legacy.

I hate it when people tried to critique a person that they did not know and only knew of.

From minute 18:13, you’ve got several images of Katie Couric - not Stephanie. Credibility lowered.

I never heard this before.

Really a quality family, though. Interesting to hear this.

I don’t think that Newman’s son looked like him at all.

6:50 Why show a picture of Corey?
