my father in law treated my wife horribly for a good part of her life... when he found out she was pregnant, he called me and wanted to discuss his rules.. I simply told him he has no right whatsoever to set any rules in my house, and who the fuck did think he was... and then I told him that my told me of his abuses of her, and that he will never see my children... and should he ever try to force his way into our lives, that I carried handcuffs for a living... and left it there.. he died of a heart attack a year or so later

They should have taken action together. Get restraining orders and inform his entire social circle.

When the father is getting sent away from the daughters house and brings up "laws" all I have to say is there is no law that entitles you to your granddaughters fathers money, nor is there any laws that entitle you to visitation rights or custody of your daughters child. You are legally labled as "extended family" and have no direct entitlement to anything your daughter and her family builds

Good on Elliot for helping his sister out throughout the pregnancy and the first five years of his nieces life. He showed the court what the father sent him in a text which literally buried the father. People like the father boast when they can and if they could just boast to one person, they will do it because like story said they feel that the one who they are boasting to is their audience and always has been.

I really respect her and Hendrix dealing with the daughter. And if this was a real story, I’d wish them the best of their lives together.

Don't minimize childhood memories. I (74F) remember my dollhouse, a gift when I was 6. I remember the working child-sized oven, and my mom giving me pastry scraps and blueberries so that as she baked the family a blueberry pie, I baked a personal blueberry tart at the same time. Yes, the objects are long gone, but the memories have lasted almost 70 years.

These AI stories are getting insane like there isn't even any checks to see if the stories makes sense anymore. She was a freshmen in college but had to get her GED, She had to walk three miles to work because the bus didn't run that early, but she had a hatchback that was in her name? Is the girls name Alaya or Layla? Her brother was younger than her, while she was a freshmen but he was still getting his tuituion paid?

Well that's just astounding hell he tries to weaponize grief of his late wife and turn it to something else but the fact that he says that he forgives her after he threw her out when he already knew he was going to have a grandchild that he threw them both out but he's trying to pretend to be the victim that he's a grieving father who never met his granddaughter because he's been a narrative of his daughter running away becoming a stripper now she's rich.
