Every time I sit down to play it's 6 to 15 hour stents. Never less

25:25 - I think the solution to bought gear being looted... And all gear being looted or lost, is what I believe they said it would be previously.

In game insurance. The fact that they have not properly implemented a way to insure any and all load outs, feels like another base level feature that should have been in place years ago.

50:30 Absolutely. Been going for years, and really hit hard with the Squadron packages thing.

Safe travels to Jese on you trip! I've been to Japan, Canada, and Puerto Rico. I don't get to travel often, but I've always had a good time mixin into other cultures and meeting the people. Hopefully you get a chance to check out some good food spots and experience the country land.

28:00 I mean one solution I see is turning all the store gear is just turn it into a skin you can apply. You could also bridge the gap with tier 0 and item insurance. Instead of having the piece of gear itself be the item crafted with quality values and being insured, make it the modules and attatchments. So that way when someone dies, the item itself is not bricked, but the modules/attatchments are bricked onto the item. Then when a player respawns they only need to have another base item the can place their insured modules back onto. Just have the modules returned with wear & tear. As players don't carry so much about the monetary value of the item, they care they lost the item period. But you can lessen that pain by giving them a copy, albiet with some batttle damage as punishment. Meanwhile the original can be used till it either stops due to the modules breaking from wear and tear or the pay the fence to unbrick the modules for probably more than the gear is worth in the long run. This is similiar to how we are doing ship bricking now.

I think the hole in the warranty idea is that we could easily duplicate items for our friends.  I buy something for real money, let you kill me, you fence the item.  That followed the rules and all my friends get the item.  I guess Death of a Spaceman would need to come in to play.

24:10 This plus dying to bugs. That's why item recovery was so important.

Its also the little things that really pushes back on new players... e.g. explain to a new player the exact process of changing the default interaction option from Equip to Store.. and wait for the "why is it so complicated".....

54:30 Just remember Squadron is singleplayer and has greater restrictions, intensely curated content, and can more easily be optimized.

21:25 I'll be honest, I'm less ok with the tier 0 item recovery than I originally was because I'm having trouble looting NPCs. Sometimes instead of getting ammo from them it equips to their armor and is then lost.

32:40 Yeah, my immediate thought about SC on $1500 is save some more. It's doable, but that's minimum spec stuff.

The thing with boundles and they not discounting things if you just want to buy a thing out of the boundle: Path of Exile does exactly that. They sell armour in boundles (head chest gloves boots) but you can buy stuff seperatly and they often discount their stuff.
PoE does alot of money as a free to play game that sells mostly cosmetic SKINS that do NOT affect your gameplay or the gameplay of other people at all. CIG would never. It's just bad.

46:55 CIG would absolutely sell more if they actually sold the items in the bundle separately. I refuse to buy the bundles, but I would buy some of the individual items.

1:32:40 You can. From point blank range and not being sure it's the right person, but you can. ^^

Feels pretty oblivious to say "when will they start to lose players" when so very many people have already said their goodbyes on various platforms over the last year. Overall, very much enjoy your content and often find your insights spot on and interesting.

1:09:00 - I would say you are not negative, you are genuinely balanced.
You report negative or things that are rather unacceptable that SC does, but you always feel very balanced.

Belief scale, aka, cult-o-meter. hehehe    Yeah the way cig separates the community seems to have some issues. I think foreboding may be a good word to describe what it seems to have fostered. If a bit heavy.

Cool guest and great talk, fortuitous dual pc knowledge. Seems pretty on the nose too, so speak. About voip, many people turning away for avoidable reasons, etc. Getting a first passport for SC/Squadron is a badge of honor.

We need suit lockers and loadouts

Loved this guest!

We already paid way too much for ships. My PC is what it is. That's all they get to run it on; with the current prices, they should understand that. 32GB of RAM is IT.
14 years later, we're missing basic stuff in the game still, like loadout lockers, trade windows, player market, true medical gameplay, not falling through the floor, non-braindead NPCs.
