‘I’d like to meet his tailor’ and ‘his hair was perfect’ are  top tier lyrics.

"Lawyers, Guns & Money " is another very popular song of his. Very funny song, as well.

Whimsical music doesn't really exist anymore because no one allows themselves to be bored. There's a special creativity that only happens when you're not tied into constant content. Your mind wanders and cool shit happens.

Mick Fleetwood played the drums and John McVie played bass on this

I vote for his song - EXCITABLE BOY.
Warren Zevon puts a lots of humor and some gore into his songs quite often. So yeah...EXCITABLE BOY and also LAWYERS GUNS AND MONEY.

This is just a fun song. It was, appropriately, featured in the movie "American Werewolf in London."

Love the harmonizing howl!  Yeah, we loved our goofy songs back in the day. 60s-70s were blessed with Versatility and Talent

Lon Chaney and his son were horror movie icons and fine actors. Jr. played the Wolfman and his father was the Phantom of the Opera and Hunchback of Notre Dame among others.

You must do “Lawyers, Guns and Money” next.  Warren Zevon (zee-von) is such a clever lyricist.  Love him, RIP.

Oh, my goodness, your face when he started to howl made me laugh out loud! I also enjoyed your a-oooooh harmony. We had a lot of fun music and really enjoyed ourselves. 💗

The look on your face when he howls is priceless

A big congrats on 100K subscribers.

"Lawyers, Guns and Money" is 🔥

Good reaction.  Two more of Zevon's songs that you should check out sometime.  "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner" and "Lawyers, Guns and Money."

that dude SLAYED it live. even small clubs. one of my fav concerts ever.

He should have got that Grammy. I recommend all of his music.

Excitable Boy, Poor Poor Pitiful Me and Accidentally Like a Martyr are my personal favorites.

This song was played at my daughters wedding last Oct 31st, 2025. It was a complete Halloween wedding with everyone in costumes, and all the songs played were Halloween/Horror themed.

Zevon was known for his sarcastic, dark lyrics set to beautiful melodies. He played everything from fragile ballads to the hardest-hitting rock songs.
As a huge fan, I know all his songs, but I have to say that his lesser-known tracks are the best. Unfortunately, he never got the fame he deserved.
To me, he’s one of the greatest, with a special place in my heart. (Desperados under the Eaves, Model Citizen, Piano Fighter, Play it al night long.....)❤‍🔥

Lyrics are very important with Zevon, trust me.
