14:42 – "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Rambo No. 5"

Viewer: "Yikes, that was so close. I don't know who won. McClane or Wick? It's a fifty/fifty."

John Wick: "Oh really? Then go ahead. Flip that coin."

The ending line for Wick: “Raven, Roy you’re done. Over” was great if you know these were code names for Rambo and McClane respectively. It’s a line from Rambo 2 about him being left behind to die.

I think this might be the first three-way battle that was actually announced as one. The other ones has always been a 'surprise ' entry.
Happy birthday Ian!

I would think you would REALLY like John Wick then because the whole thing is just a massive revenge spree for the dog.

The message in the 3rd movie was ''This film is dedicated to the gallant people of Afghanistan'' but there was a worse version in theatrical release ''This film is dedicated to the brave mujahideen fighters of Afghanistan'' which, fun fact, was the version that was used when the movie first came out in my country (Czechia). I still have it to this day on VHS.

Richard Crenna played Trautman on Rambo but the most amazing thing about that is that he also played the parody of that same character in Hot Shots 2. I can't from the top of my head think of another actor who has played both a character and the parody of said character in a movie.

I saw this battle. Then I watched Die Hard with the family on Christmas Eve. Now I love it.

What I've learned from the comment threads of other reactions to this:  A "Dinner Reservation" from Wick is a request for coffins.  Kind of like Travolta and Jackson calling for a cleaner in Pulp Fiction.

The Die Hard in Russia also doesn’t seem to understand geography or national borders. John and his son somehow travel hundreds of miles across a national border into Ukraine into a restricted zone without being stopped once. Oh, and they’re driving a vehicle that has been reported stolen

Y’know, I’ve actually been dreading the 3-way battle, plus I’m not a big action movie fan, so I’ve been putting off seeing the original video. That was less chaotic than I expected, but man Rambo was still as bad as I expected. Then again, I also only liked First Blood, so really Rambo ruined himself long before the battle started. At any rate, definitely gonna give the original a view and check out the behind the scenes.

Also, I’m absolutely here for the trivia. Love learning about these things in this context. I know there’s audience feedback and trying to keep up with what’s trending on youtube, but I really want to encourage you to react to more things that you know intimately, because that passion is incredibly engaging and entertaining. You’ve gotta flex those trivia muscles more often.

Glad someone else knows about the Die Hard Sinatra connection.
I bring it up to people whenever they talk about Die Hard and most don't believe me.

OMG, yes, I remember the Rambo and Robocop cartoons growing up.

Sigh, the 80's were such a strange time. I miss 'em tho. Lol! 😆

And the 80's Robocop movie...just pure, unadulterated violence.  Dude blasting thru bodies with shotguns. So, of course Hollywood execs are like, you know what this needs? To be made into a cartoon for children! 🤣🤦🏾‍♀️

Ian won that battle hands down! Always an A+ reaction from the Insane birthday boy!

"he once killed three people with a pencil, a fucking pencil"

Can we just mention how eerily similar Lloyd looks to Alan Rickman when he says "Hans Gruber!" Almost the exact same expression on his face, just without the surprise of "we're gonna count to three, but we're gonna drop you on 'one'"

I haven't seen any Die Hard series film, but I do like Willis in other flicks.  Even with that caveat, Lloyd-as-McClane sounded "off" to me, I could hear pieces of other impressions he's done, Al Capone, Donald Trump, even some Jeff Bezos squeak, but I didn't hear a single unified Bruce Willis in this.  Similarly, I've seen a large number of Keanu films, but not the Wick ones; I could really hear him in Zack's impression.  And that tipped the balance for me from McClane to Wick.

Still wanting to see your reaction to brian david Gilbert's dances moving

Oh, wow, I enjoyed the breakdown. I loved all the Die Hard trivia I didn't know about.

Thanks for sharing and Happy New Years! And Happy Birthday!

this is the first erb i need your knowledge about since i have only seen the wicks
