Why the fuck does the 90s footage hit so hard

Crazy, that was 30 years ago. A completely different world than today. You can sense in these videos that the world was different back then, a quieter one. No cell phones, no social media. A relaxed time.

Something about those old cameras with the fish eye just makes the skateboarding video look like a skateboard video.

Mike Maldonado has to be the most underrated skater from the 90's. Made everything look effortlessly stylish.

Look at how clean those streets are. How far we have fallen

This the start of all the video games we see today

Bam lived more in a decade from this point on than any of us will in our lifetime.

Bam was such a beast. He was an important figure in Philadelphia skateboarding.. We turned this tennis court in the back of our neighborhood into a make shift skate park and it was a really hidden spot and one day Bam popped up with his boys and ripped it up. Idk how the hell he found it but me and my two buddies got to skate with our idol and it was awesome. Will never forget that day.

The tow truck driver was pretty cool about it LOL

Nearly 30 years old and this is still so fucking good. Thanks for posting/ sharing this!

This footage is gold. Bam as a child is dope lol

I was 15 and skating in LA area in 95. Damn this takes me back…this is exactly what we did, day and night. The 90s were fking dope

this is so fucking rad. seeing bam haggle the tow truck owner for one more try. interesting to watch him talking about money and fame for skate tricks. he truly understood the possibilities that skateboarding could unlock for him.

This is pure gold. Crazy seeing FDR before the back bowls were built.

I’m from south Jersey and was 12 in 95. These dudes were my idols.

Miss the old days when skaters were just being skaters having fun and chasing dreams, no TikTok, no Instagram bs, just true authentic tricks

I love anything from mid to late 90s. Philly shit. All day! Cky! Og toy machine crew. Wow miss this

omg this is the best, never seen this footy of bam

Bam is such a charismatic dude, seeing him bartering with the tow truck owner is great

It's hard to believe this was nearly 30 years ago. I started skating in 1997 even though I had been riding a skateboard since like 1990. My 1st complete was a World 🌎 Industries devilman 😈 logo deck, Indy trucks, Black magic grip?, Bones Swiss bearings, Shortys Silverados hardware and 54 mm Bam Margera Landspeed wheels. Damn do I miss the 90s. Videos like Shortys Fulfill the Dream and Toy Machine Jump off A Building blew my mind back then, and of course Girl - Mouse, Josh Kalis' part in Heavy Metal. The 90s was a special decade and a great time to be alive.
