Ok so it turns out that the superboss at the end of the Boss Rush does drop a reward. In the blood trail at the entrance is a sword called the Void Blade and it has some crazy abilities. This item didn't drop for me while I was testing but I have confirmed reports from the FrankieTown Discord that people have nabbed it.

Leigh's cursed mode requirement should literally just be forcing you to repeat the boss fight from time to time, since she talks so much about wanting to fight sam and beat him

"Minor update"

No way Juicebox is finally a mom, so proud of him.

16:27 CONGRATS JUICEBOX!!

Ahh, the miracle of life 🥹

27:40 if i remember correctly this was the first design attempt for sybils final form

Considering the comparison of Disaster looking like Sybil's previous boss look and having a spiral like the Chaos Quartet, maybe Disaster is what would happen if Sybil reunited with the astronomers to join in the ritual.

should be noted the leigh changes are cursed mode only. I did think losing the gun was on the weaker downsides of the garunteed party members but man losing that much food every day definitely hurts now.

phillippe gaining a conscience really the best part of this update

You get a sword for killing Disaster called the Voidblade.

The big eye encounter is real. I jumped while playing the game at 3AM.
That one got me.

big eye can spawn, tall man is still unused, melt isn’t real and he can’t hurt you.

Holy shit they added the pit of 100 trials

You can fleece Jacob 200$ if you tell him no when he asks you if he can join you he'll offer 200$ to sweeten the deal and then if you just kick him out before morning comes you get to keep the money

13:17 Btw, iirc now Morton stays at the basement with the tickles guy if you don't have enough junk to recruit him at the first meet

One more minor, indirect buff for Morton, really an indirect improvement to his recruitment.  Breaking weapons can give junk making it a bit easier to get through his list of trades.

I think the first witness is supposed to be a What if case.
What if Sybil and the astronomers did the ritual together.

Also it would be cool if successfully beaten the boss rush, that time rewinds to day zero so you can have more door encounters or smth in that regard.

27:00 If I had to guess (based PURELY on nonsense and what I understand from your lore/theory videos) this section looks like a deep seated constant fear from Sam, Sybil, or a nasty mixture of the two. That fear being: "what if i fail? what if this is all for naught? and what if my 'friends' abandon/betray me?" Sam has been a loner for most of his time in the apartments, kind of interacts with his neighbors but doesn't really have any friends. Now, however, that the world has kinda gone to shit, he suddenly has more friends than he ever thought. He's suddenly a hero to most, if not nearly all, of the denizens of the complex. Somewhere in the back of his mind, whether it be some form of imposter syndrome or a general fear of failing, he's worried about the futility of it all, and when all the "good times" will end and he's left alone all over again. In Sybil's case, it could be a form of anxiety because she caused all of this to happen (inadvertently but still...). Her guilt only growing as Sam tells her about what he's encountered thus far, knowing she's the cause of all of this, and has ruined countless lives, worrying everyone will hate her when/if they learn it's all her fault.

Like I said, this interpretation is purely based on nothing, and I have no actual evidence to suggest I'm right.

I think if you lose the cursed Sophie fight, she won't kill you. She'll give you some bandages while taking some money and candy, I believe.

Big Eye encounter is real.                     Nothing happens for now👁
