This is one of the most impressive stand up comedy performances of all time. The way he has total control whilst going off on mad tangents is just amazing.

one of the best stand up shows ever. used to watch it repeatedly

Izzard at his peak. His masterpiece. I’ve watched this show dozens of times. I no longer watch it for the jokes (I know them all), but to admire and learn from his stagecraft and audience control. 5 minutes into the show, when he says “Taxi… of which there are FIVE”, applause erupts, and that’s the point he knows he has ‘won’ the audience. He now knows the evening will be a success. You can see him struggle to hold back a smile.

If it's true that every laugh adds minutes on your lifespan, you guys will live forever. 😂

Thank you so much for this. I have watched this show multiple times, but I was crying too, by the end. Your reactions totally made my day.

I’ve never seen Lucy laugh so hard she lost her headphones before 😂😂😂😂😂

"Jeff the god of biscuits" is my favorite line of the whole show. Just wonderfully absurd.

Once Eddie gets going, he's relentless.  This was such a cracking show.  I've got this on DVD, so I know it well, but it still cracks me up every time.  Your own reactions were priceless.  Thank you for not constantly interrupting like so many other "reaction" videos.

"Do you have a Flag?!" is my go to smug flex

Omg I love Eddie Izzard he is incredibly underrated.

Haven't watched Eddie for years. Intelligence, history, geography & comedy. Eddie did some amazing shows.

All Eddies stand up shows are rib achingly funny.... His intelligent writing and genius ad libbing are unmatched... This is how history should be learned... through tear inducing humour :) I really enjoyed seeing him taking you guys apart.. Thanks for the upload... it lifted my mood on a dark day x

This and Glorious are Izzard's killer shows. We knew every line.

This is by far the best world history lesson taught.  I still watch and learn from it.  Americans know very little about world history before the internet

41:55 when Lucy’s laugh goes back up again always makes me laugh

This has always been my favourite Izzard show, it marks his acsension to popularity. Brilliant reaction guys, can't wait to watch part 2 with you.

I love seeing peoples' reactions to Eddie/Suzie, as I showed my mother when I was a teenager...more than a decade later we went together to one of their shows and Susie/Eddie saw one of my messages to them and genuinely helped me come out to my mum sitting next to me right there and then, I'm still so thankful for that to this day.

Brilliant, just brilliant. Eddie and your reactions!

Eddie was my favourite comedian in the 90s. I watched this show on repeat.

Brad and Lucy shaking with laughter for 40 mins straight! 😅👍
