MY HERO by them is great too! When their drummer passed away his like 16 yr old son took his place for that song at one of their concerts.. it was so cool

Dave Grohl is probably the best example of someone who openly embraced all his musical influences and shares them with his own compositions. He's a musical archivist as well as a hell of a musician.

Kurt Cobain would proud of David Grohl.  Definitely the star of post grunge.

Just remember Mr Roo when you listen to Learn to Fly, it is the same band!

Walk, Run, Rope, White Limo, Stacked Actors, Learn to Fly, Times Like These, All My Life, Big Me… SO MANY BANGERS!

I'd love for you to react to All My Life. That is the song that really made me fall in love with this band. I was obsessed.

Foo Fighters - Times Like These live in Herodion. Must see!

Dave Grohl’s punk roots go way back to the band scream. The guy’s footprint in rock history is crazy!

This song is great when you don't pause and break the ride.

Also, I know you like Prince, if you react to his Super Bowl half time performance, he covers part of Best of You. It rocks

Monkey Wrench by Foo Fighters next please

You definitely need to check out the super bowl halftime show from prince, it relates back to this song.... IYKYK😁

They had always been on my bucket list of concerts to see over the years and finally saw them in 2024 and it was one of the best concerts I’ve seen. So much energy!

I have a suggestion for you. Another great Foo Fighters song is Learn to Fly. But you should also listen to the cover version of it, Foo Fighters Rockin’ 1000. It was shot in Italy when a marine geologist dreamed of getting the Foo Fighters to play a concert in his small home town of Cessna, Italy. I believe he wound up with over 1000 musicians when they made the video. As a musician and a producer yourself, I’m sure you will really appreciate how they pulled this off and what the end result was. It’s gotten over 67 million views, and just goes to show you how nothing more than music pulls us all together in this world we live in. Dave Grohl did see the video himself, and the Foo Fighters did play a concert there.

Saw Foo live a few times, some of the best gigs I've seen, the energy is surreal and there's no bad song by them regardless of which are more popular. I'm glad to see you do this journey on their music.
I'd like to tell you to all check 80's post punk/goth music as you'll notice a lot of specific sounds that influenced some of the bands you listen to now and a lot of signature synth sounds and chord progressions.

P.S - The best of you is also a double entendre, is someone getting the best part of you or is someone getting advantage of who you are.

Simple IS easy, but simple done WELL is not easy!

Next QOTSA !
Dave drummed for them on songs for the deaf

Foo Fighters stay relevant, even after so many years. Seconding "Learn to Fly."

Walk ... WAlk ... WALk ... WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK. You won't be disappointed. Also These Days.

They're just such a good band! (RIP Taylor🤘❤🤟)!
