Funny that called it "so 90s" because you look exactly how we looked in the 90s :)

Kyle Gass is the guitar player and Dave Grohl plays the demon.  You might know Dave Grohl from "Nirvana" or "Foo Fighters"  You should check out Jack Black's Ozzy tribute. Jack Black feat. Roman Morello, Revel Ian, Yoyoka Soma & Hugo Weiss - “Mr Crowley”

My favorite Tenacious D song is "WonderBoy". Jack Black really has a beautiful voice.

Didn't know it was possible to not know this song word for word

You need to watch their movie Tenacious D in The Pick Of Destiny

Kyle Gass is a Guitar God sent from heaven above with fingers of pure gold, sent down in the optimal male form.

Just noticed it was Ben Stiller walking by when Jack came out of the studio 😂

Kickapoo is awesome too

Kyle Glass is a classically trained guitarist who went to Juliard.

For those who didn't know, Jack Black and Kyle Gass witnessed the "greatest song in the world".  But this isn't it, it's only a tribute.

The Devil is Dave Grohl if you didn't know already. Dope cameo.

Also fun fact Jack Black's mother was a NASA computer scientist and was solving problems while in labor with Jack. Her programming helped save the Apollo 13 astronauts

If you're an engineer in a studio you should know the mic hanging from the ceiling of the karaoke studio was an Electro-Voice model 666. I've always found it to be a nice little easter egg most people don't notice.

They're legitimately super talented musicians. I saw them live in Seoul back in 2014 when I was in the army stationed in Korea. They put on a hell of a show.

As a 90’s kid it sounds more 2000 than anything else

So glad you're checking this out!! This is a Metalhead Essential Rite of Passage to hear this. You must learn, grasshopper 🦗. If you haven't seen School of Rock, WATCH IT IMMEDIATELY. 😁🤘💜😎,( Burque Mama here for you bebe)

That is Bach, and it rocks. It’s a rock block of Bach that he learned in a school called the school of hard knocks.

The Pick of Destiny is possibly the best musical of all time right behind The Blues Brothers. Both are so freaking good and must watch movies for musicians! The cast in both is absolutely stacked with legends.

Dude the old HBO Tenacious D series was so hilarious and ROCKED YOUR SOCKS OFF!! 😂😂

There are a lot of genuinely talented musical comedic acts. They tend to get slept on as "novelty" acts.
