11:05 In Flowey's defence, in Undertale, he sees Frisk as Chara, his best friend. When he tells Frisk his story, before the Last Corridor, he was absolutely TERRIFIED. PETRIFIED. ANY OTHER SYNONYM FOR SCARED. He knew their DT was greater from the moment they entered the Underground. Clover, on the other hand, was a tool for Flowey to use, another step closer to being all powerful, another SOUL to be taken. So it makes sense why Flowey acts different in Undertale Yellow's Geno compared to vanilla Undertale.

Just to debunk the initial fraud allegations: While Clover did come with purpose, they're canonically not very determined and since their home life was implied to be pretty bad on the surface, they were just happy living with Toriel. And they always died because they had no way to remember loads (and that's if Flowey was even helping them at that point). Plus, the fact they made it to hotland in the first place means they beat Undyne first try at least once

In my head, the reason Clover always 'stopped' and gave up with Toriel is because of a few factors. The first, and most important is that...theyre just a kid. They dressed up like a Cowboy, and THINK about that. Clover is 'playing' hero, even if their desire to save the missing kids is genuine, theyre still just a child playing at the idea of being this wild west hero. So to meet Toriel, one of the first adults to treat them well, and one who actually gets across to them how serious and dangerous the entire thing is...its not that surprising that they 'give up.' That they realize theyre in over their head, and take the genuine compassion and safety Toriel offers them. It always made sense to me with this in mind. Thats the biggest difference between Frisk and Clover. Without memories between resets, Clover really is just a kid playing at the idea of being a 'Hero' that got waaay in over their head. Thats how ive always interpreted it.

Oh, and ive always assumed Clover didnt use the magic or 'fight' properly against Asgore in flawed due to them not truly 'wanting' to do so. They kinda...went to sacrifice themself, like in Pacifist. The kid being tired also checks out as a reason.

Nah I'm not gonna lie I like the vengence route so much for this one the fact that he does EXACTLY what his goal was is incredible. My favorite part is how the kid literally changed FATE. He was destined to die. He WAS destined to be trapped in a little jar for GOD knows how long. Despite his actions I am actually happy this boy gets to go home. He shouldn't had died in the pacifist run since he deserved a chance to survive but the fact that he actually beat flowey. I'm not saying he was right but I'm not gonna lie the fact that it took EVERYTHING for him to actually be able to beat asgore is peak righting.

The kid in canon was probably so warped by the resets that the reason why his first instinct in canon was to shoot any monster was valid. If you think about it the fact he DOES die probably hundreds or thousands of times by the hands of monsters. And I'm not gonna say they are good people sure they wanna be free but IF I WAS THE KID I wouldn't think 'Oh I want these people to be free' I'd think something along the lines of 'Jesus christ is that another!?' you would realistically be scared out of your mind and I would say the fact that realistically if your not frisk in this universe you actually have to basically throw hands with the entire populus in the span of a day. I think killing them in self defense which FOR A WHILE he was doing bro!!! In my eyes It would basically be beating a 3 foot tall toad thats trying to kill me. then getting stuck in some weird forest wilderness were the equivalents of 'demons' around every corner who WANT YOUR SOUL. Then the fight with martlet which she was actually CIVIL but still throws hands with a kid which if I was what like 4 foot tall and a 6 foot tall BIG BLUE BIRD was throwing hammers and bowling balls at me, I'd be inclined to shoot her. the characters in the dunes I can't justify because of the fact you actively pursue them but if you were slowed down by your injuriesand had to stay long enough that you did see them all yeah its justified. Starlo calls you on a duel bro. He gave us a gun then said we would do a duel mind this WERE A KID and I don't care if he can't tell honestly from clovers perspective he is expecting LIFE OR DEATH. Ceroba is literally some women who starts assaulting me after a man just tried to pull a blicky on me so JUSTIFIED. and Axis and all the robots ARE WAR MACHINES. And Axis KILLED A KID robot or not he still commited a crime and was made for the purpose of killing humans and if we are in this sceneraio we have no much dust on our hands that we are a lunatic. And at the end martlet which I get the fact that she is a good person but if I was in clvers shoes and a MYTHICAL CREATURE with MAGIC and talons who said that they were gonna kill me started fighting me by now its her. Flowey is so justified all of this is his fault since we are his prisoner and by the time we get rid of him we are free. Asgore too he made the war on humanity and the death of every monster and child is because of that action and absorbing his soul is SO POETIC since in canon he would take our soul but now WE HAVE HIS. So its not all justified but honestly i think considering its one of the few ways a person could realistically survive the underground in their universe I think that doing it for survival would mean everything.

Imo, Clover power probably go by how "Justified" he is in the situations, in Pacifist he was able to unlock his powers after basically forced into a corner before able to fight back, he "lost" his power because if you end up killing ceroba, i argue after the conversations with Starlo about if this was the right thing, Clover "Justified" was weakened, so against Asgore you could argue that was justice for Asgore, since Clover killed someone who, while did tried to kill him, "was" Justified in their actions for attacking Clover.

And in Genocides, you can argue he was "Justified" in the killing, up until Marlet because she was the one still "good" and he was trying to Justified his reasoning during the fight and Zenith Marley saying "Searching for a reason to hate me...?" Is essentially Clover trying to find the "Justice" of this situation to keep going

Whats funny is i always used a nickname "Clover" in certain games and eversince undertale yellow became a game i was like.. wow

My favorite part of Undertale Yellow is when it it starts to blur Justice and Vengence during its genocide route until Clover stops caring for the former entierly. Going from trying to grant the children Justice but it turns into a personal vendetta and hatred of Monsters, It gives a actual in-game reason for Clovers actions during the route that does not exist to the same extent in Undertale.

Clovers power are only based on his will to fight, since he doesn’t really want to fight asgore and feels guilt for killing ceroba, he just gives up.

The most absurd thing about Undertale Yellow is that there is no Undayne fight. In the pacifist and normal ending, Undayne might not notice Clover, but in the Genocide route, Undayne would notice Clover and come to stop her, and probably win.

In short, logically, Undayne would have to face Clover in the Genocide route.

Yeah I wish Starlo got the genocide treatement. Like first we wipe out his gang who stayed behind to let the rest evacuate as he isn't holding anything back as his friend Ceroba blocked the bullet that was meant for him erasing any doubt in his mind doing everything in his power to take you down. Fangame fights of Starlo genocide were literally made because Starlo didn't get the genocide treatement instead Ceroba got yet another fight despite being the literal final boss of pacifist.
