The poor, poor brother. I feel so desperately sorry for him.

The brother...oh my word. He is so broken by this yet he still remains a really good person with hope in his heart not hate. He is so much stronger than he knows/believes and his sons are very lucky to have such a compassionate, loving and intelligent dad/role model. I just want to hug him and tell him his sister lives on in him and his world view. All the poor lost sheep in the manosphere should follow role models like this guy. This is what a man looks like.

After serving in Sierra Leone. I can't even watch these documentaries anymore. When you go to sleep tonight. Be thankful you never have to see such horrors 😢

Both the men had a long list of crimes and should have been removed from society before this happened.

Rebecca, I dont know if you'll ever see this. But sweetheart. The guilt does not lay with you. I hope someday you can unburden yourself from that feeling and thought. This is not your fault. The guilt should lie with the men who did this. Try to remember the good times with your friends. Let that be their legacy. I am so sorry your heart hurts. ❤

My heart goes out to the families, how tragic! The brother is so broken, I want to give him the biggest hug!❤

How are they allowed to get up to 146 convictions? Period. No matter what. Career criminals. Surely there should be a max number of convictions?

Capital punishment would be a suitable verdict. So tragic & unfortunate.

may both of those girls rest in peace; what a horrific and completely senseless end to have suffered.

Unimaginable brutality. I will forever hope we find ways to prevent such horrible crimes.....I am not sure how, but there must be a way. No one should ever experience what those two beautiful young girls endured.

I remember this horrific story well, living in Sydney at the time. The one thing I always contemplated is whether the girls had not been sighted by these two bastards , would they have gone on and killed all the friends who they definitely would've run into?
Horrific story.

Rebecca said Everyone must remember that what happened to her friends who were victims that it is the perpetrators fault and not their fault
Rebecca and Nathan I am now going to tell you both something Listen carefully and live your life to the fullest
This is my message to you both
IT IS THE PERPETRATORS FAULT AND NOT YOURS
God bless you both It is very hard but live for yourselves and your loved ones 🙏🙏❤️❤️

So sorry that monsters live among us. So sorry to the brother and all involved in this sad and terrifying case: RIP girls ❤

Stories like this make you question humanity. How could anyone do something like this to 2 sweet kids who had their whole lives ahead of them? The 2 degenerate murderers are as foul, disgusting and evil as anyone has ever been but at the other end we have Nathan who is as good, kind and decent as any you would meet. He was obviously a wonderful big brother to Lauren and she no doubt adored him. He looks almost gaunt, strained, eyes holding the horror of that time. I wish I could give him a hug. The decent people outnumber the monsters in this world. Lauren and Nichole, their parents, siblings, awesome circle of friends and loving townspeople, they are all what is good and kind in this world and nothing can take that away, not even this horrendous crime. I hope Nathan can find peace and get past this, I hope his dreams are peaceful and I hope those two monsters never know a good day for the rest of their lives. Rest in peace Lauren and Nichole. You are loved and remembered. Sincere condolences from someone who cares in the US.❤

Definitely one of the saddest and cruelest crimes against these two young very innocent girls! They did absolutely nothing wrong! Shame on anyone who says different! My heart goes out to both families. And to you, Nathan Barry….. your heart is still so beautiful. You are still hurting and well for the rest of your life unfortunately, you have to learn to live with this.. just remember all the beautiful times you had with your sister. I am sending you one of the biggest hugs I can from Florida.! ❤️. May God bring peace to your soul.
