On August 23, 1990, 22-year-old Cheryl Henry and 21-year-old Andy Atkinson went out for a date night in west Houston. The young couple, still in the early glow of their relationship, went to a club called Bayou Mamma's with Henry's younger sister, Shane Craig.
But by the next morning, neither had come home.

The case is considered solved by law enforcement.
But there was never a courtroom trial or conviction because the suspect died before prosecution. He hung himself in a jail cell while waiting extradition. He was 64. They are now searching other cold cases he may have been involved in. There are several other women who have come forward about this evil creep. It’s too bad they didn’t say something sooner. 🤦🏻♀️
