There is no old tamil and modern tamil, it's only tamil. People can able to read, understand and relate very old Tamil literature and inscriptions.

Hi guys, in Tamilnadu we found iron Age in same place when in IVC. So old tamil was there during the IVC

Nice analysis. Just one correction. There was no proto-dravidian existed anytime. There was only ancient Tamil which later became other southern languages including current tamil.

For all the objects/birds/animals , specific to indian subcontinent( can't be found in Europe or rest of Asia) , has its name in proto-dravidian( Tamil). For example peacock in Sanskrit is Mayur (derived from mayil in Tamil). Fish in Sanskrit is Min( derived from meen in Tamil).

We tamils believe, there was no proto Dravidian language at all. We see it as tamil itself.

Great conversation, BTW, humanity (in it's present fully evolved form) has existed for 200,000 years. We kid ourselves by calling things 4000 years old as "ancient", and that's just because of our limitation and ability to understand what happened before. And to make matters worse, politicians and belief systems come in the way of scientists, linguists and true understanding.

Did you know there is archaeological event happened in China that they found Hindu god temple so they see the text that it has Tamil language so they asked Indian government especially Tamil Nadu archaeologist to help them then it is easily to be understand because it's called Tamil bro Tamil 😂😂😂 see even the old version still understandable to the modern day new version uses like us

20000 years ago Tamil Siddha Eessan gave Urukku ( iron) Vedam ( science) ...iron melting technology.
Trishul.

Vested interests distorted this as Rig Veda and wrote unwanted things.

6.00 About Retroflexed and Dental/Dental-Alveolar sounds .
Both these classes of sounds were present in Ancient VEDIC SANSKRIT . Dentals/Dental-Alveolar must have been present during OUT OF INDIA MIGRATIONS . But these simply disappeared as their adapted scripts ROMAN and others did not have any letters for Dentals .
That's why कलकत्ता was replaced by Calcutta .

If you understand and learn tamizh you will not come to this conclusion that sanskrit is old you need to do depth research before touching the sensitive topic..
