There's a whole generation of us that grew up playing this game

I recently started playing TBC classic after barely having touched WOW since 2007. I don't know how I didn't get into it when I was younger, I'm finding so much about it so good even now (maybe it's because gaming in general has gotten too convenient and TBC strikes a wonderful balance of convenience and friction). Probably best I didn't get fully into it back then though... my school work suffered enough as it was

I was alliance human rogue back in 2005 and played him for a couple of years. quit the game, came back as a horde orc rogue because of a friend playing horde. Loved both my factions but I missed elwynn, westfall, duskwood. Those are my places of home feeling that never seem to change even 20 years later. If I ever played again which I won't because life, I would go with alliance again and level as slowly as I could on the most peaceful class I could find. I used to be all about fast, dps rogue but now I would probably go with priest or something lol

Takes me back to looking across the river to Duskwood (didn't even know the zone back then) and seeing lvl ?? wolves, feeling genuine fear of them...
