After wanting a proper navigation setup for my 2025 Yamaha Ténéré 700, I finally decided to add a dedicated screen to the bike.

In this video, I install and spend some time using the Carpuride W602S Pro with TPMS. I’ve now put over 3,000 km on it through commuting, touring, and adventure riding, so this is more about how it actually fits into my T7 setup than a first impression.

I go through the installation, how I use it on the bike, the features I find useful, and a few things I’m not crazy about after using it for a few trips.

The goal was pretty simple. I wanted to get my phone off the handlebars and have a dedicated screen for navigation, while also having things like tire pressure monitoring, music, calls, and other features all in one place.

Pretty nice set up. I mounted a Tab active 5 with a locking ram mount on my offset display mount where your garmin is. I wanted to be able to have my phone on my body in case of an unscheduled dismount. It has its own cell phone plan too so I can use it in an emergency. I also prefer portrait orientation. Definitely wasn’t a cheap solution going this way lol.

Great video 👌 I actually put an Aoocci setup on my Versys for the exact same reason. Getting the phone off the handlebars is a game changer, mostly for weather protection too. How do you find the screen brightness when the sun hits it directly overhead?
